Wayfinder: Best Starting Class To Pick

If you’re new to the game, pick these!

Wayfinder Group Boss

With the new Wayfinder game coming out, there’s a lot of talk and hype around the game. It’s a game that has a unique way of going with a player’s characters and how alts work. The choice of your starting class matters, since you’ll be stuck with it and will have to unlock the others later on. Of course, you can just make new accounts, but some people don’t want that hassle.

In this guide, we’ll show you a couple of the best starting class for those who want to try the game out. Some of the classes can be quite complex but these ones are beginner friendly! Now, let’s see what these classes are.

Best Starting Class To Pick

In Wayfinder, you create an account and pick a class, and you’re stuck with that class until you unlock more later on. This might not sound bad for some players who are used to the grind and like jumping in blind, but for some people it might be a problem. You might pick a class that doesn’t ring well with you or is too hard for new players. So, what are the best starting class for the game?

There are 2 characters that I suggest you play with first. One is Wingrave, the closest the game gets to a Paladin class. The class has a good balance of offensive and defensive abilities as well as ways to protect and heal allies.

Another great character to try out is Kyros, a short-range mage character. He does have a melee weapon as a signature but also has some short-ranged spells. From spells that make enemies walking time bombs, to an AOE ultimate that deals a lot of damage, this one is for the DPS players out there.

Wayfinder Wingrave and Kyros

Of course, that’s just two of the 6 classes you can choose in the game. The thing is the other classes are a bit more difficult to start off for new players. One of the most complex characters in the game is Niss and is not great for newbies. From the lowest complexity to the highest we have: Wingrave, Kyros, Silo, Venomess, Senja and finally Niss.

Those are the best starting classes to pick in Wayfinder. Of course, this really depends on the familiarity of the players when it comes to MMOs. Go out there and pick the one you’re most comfortable with! Make sure to go check out our guide on Echos if you haven’t already.
