Blasphemous 2 is a sequel to Blasphemous, which is developed by Game Kitchen. The game offers players with many unique combat features, a rich storyline as well as myths to uncover. As you fight and defeat monstrous foes, you will want to get upgrades for your weapon.
With 6 weapon upgrades for you to collect, your combat potential will be increased significantly. However, you may not know where these upgrades are and how you are able to collect them. In this guide, we will show you the locations of all weapon upgrades.

Ruego Al Alba Upgrade #1
In Ruego Al Alba, there are up to two upgrades for you to collect by solving the puzzles and reaching the end of the areas. To get the first Ruego Al Alba Upgrade, go to Crown of Towers in the top right corner of the mini map.
To the very left of the area, you will want to interact with the blue statues. This lets you unlock the entrance that leads to the next area. Then, jump to the top of the platform to your right and keep moving to move to the next screen.
In the next area, you will be able to see a statue which you can interact with to pull the platform downwards. However, you will not want to go on top of the platform.
Instead, go to the left side and climb upwards. Then, perform a plunge attack on top of the platform so that the attack’s impact clears the obstacle that stops you from progressing.
Ruego Al Alba Upgrade #2
In order to obtain the Second Ruego Al Alba Weapon Upgrade, head towards the south of your mini map. You will want to look for an area called Beneath Her Sacred Grounds. There you will be able to collect your next upgrade.
Once you get there, you will be able to see an opponent. You can choose to fight him or just simply jump over him and ignore the enemy. Then, move on to the next screen by heading to the right. After that, there will be multiple spikes parkours that you need to complete.
The key to completing the parkours is to be patient and precise with all of your movements. After that, you can go to the next area and interact with the statue to receive your second weapon upgrade.
Sarmiento & Centella Upgrade #1
Sarmiento & Centella also has two upgrades for you to collect. In order to obtain the first one, you will want to head towards the North East side from the center of your mini map. The exact location you want to go to is Choir of Thorns.
Once you got to the area, head towards your left and interact with the blue statue. After that, the pillar blocking your way to the next screen will open up. Then, carefully watch your movements and jump between walls to reach the top.
When you reach the area, keep moving to the right side of the area until you see the spikes stopping you. To get through them, use the two mirrors that launch you forward. As you do this, pay attention to your movements and use your dashes to help you reach the mirrors.
Sarmiento & Centella Upgrade #2
To the North of the center of the mini map, you will be able to see the Elevated Temples area. Here, you will be able to find your second Sarmiento & Centella Weapon Upgrade.
Once you get to the area, keep heading to the very left until you see the two floating objects you can grab onto. There will be only one of these at first, and the second one will appear when you grab onto the first one. Then, climb up the ladders and head towards your left.
Once you reach the next area, use the mirror to launch yourself towards your desired destination. There is also one obstacle you need to break using your plunge attack.
After that, move to the right side of the map and you will see another mirror which will launch you upwards. When you are in the air, use your plunge move again to break the blocks and you will reach the statue.
Veredicto Upgrade #1
There are two Veredicto Upgrades you can collect. The first one is also in the same area, which is the Elevated Temples. However, this time you will want to head towards the bottom left side of the region. When you first get there, head left and take the ladder that leads downwards.
After that, head towards your right. In the next area, you will be able to see a bell as well as an enemy. You will want to ignore this one enemy and hit the bell. After that, a parkour will pop up which you can use to reach the next area.
When you reach the end of the parkour, you will be able to see an object on the top right side of your screen. As you perform your last jump, hit this one object and the entrance below you will open up. After that, you will be able to reach the statue.
Veredicto Upgrade #2
The last Veredicto Upgrade and also the last weapon upgrade for you to find in this guide is in Sunken Cathedral. This area is located South West to the mini map’s center location. You will want to go to the specific room to the very top right of Sunken Cathedral.
As you walk your way to the left side of the room, you will be able to find a statue which you can interact with. Upon interacting with the statue, the bell on top of the area will move towards the right. This bell is useful since you can use it for later.
Then, hit the bell and jump downwards. The bell’s sound will interact with a locked entrance to your right. Remember to only jump downwards twice since you do not want to go on the wrong floor. After that, you can move to the right side and reach the statue to receive your last upgrade.
That is how you can find all weapon upgrades in Blasphemous 2. There are currently up to 6 upgrades for you to collect. As you find all of these upgrades, you will have to complete some of the puzzles and understand the mechanics to progress through the obstacles.
