Beginner’s Guide for Raise A Child

Once you get a child, you have to be fully alert. This is because anyone can start attacking you as it’s a full PVP game. If they kill your child, you’ll have to get another one. So, the first rule is to avoid any danger at any time in the game while raising your child as fast as possible:

Any holes or void, a child’s pathing isn’t perfect so if they fall off, they die.
Other players can try to kill your child any time.
Child Muncher spawns every night and will kill your child if they get too close. They’re huge red monsters that’s hard to miss.
Invasions (scroll to the end!).

Getting Money and Filling Up Stats

Right off the bat, you have to find money to do anything at all. And the best job to do is the City Clearn job, or janitor.

If you step out of Jolly Mart, the building where you get the egg and other items, go right and turn around the corner. There’s the janitor near the bin in front of the Jolly Apartment Complex. Janitor pays the most for starters.

Your job is to collect trash that are spread across the map. Alternatively, the chef job is also available in the building near the bin.

Once you have enough money, you can now buy resources and other items to keep your child’s stats in the green zone. You can check by pressing Child Stats on the right side of the screen.

Needs can be purchased by browsing in the Jolly Mart. If your child is injured from being attacked, two bandages is enough for a full-bar heal.

Next to the bandage, the Glowstick and Soccer Ball are cheap ways to keep the child entertained. It’s a great idea to stock up on needs when you come here so you don’t have to spend too much time going back and forth to get them.

Much later when you have enough money, the Bone sold at the back row allows you to tame a dog. The Doggy will automatically keep your child entertained.

The syringe is Medicine for emergencies and the Baby Food is to keep the child from getting hungry.

Aging Up Child (School and Special Food)

The fastest, common way to age your child is by finishing the tests at the school. Every exam raises your child’s age by 1. But make sure to keep track of your child’s stats at all time.

Another method is by going through the trash can in the chef job building. There’s a chance of a yellow potion from dropping which raises your child’s age by 1. But there’s a risk of getting your child sick that way, so you need the medicine.

You need to age them to 20. Once your child reach age 20, find this NPC. Sell your adult child for a Spirit Child that cannot die.

Metal Detector

To make the Metal Detector, you need three Alien Pieces. The first Alien Piece is located on top of this tall mountain that you’ll have to climb from the ladder on backside first.

Then go around to the front side to walk up the makeshift planks. Walk around again and climb another set of ladder and then jump on the platforms. Finally, jump to the top via the ledges on the side of the mountain. Pick up the shiny, purple object which is your first Alien Piece.

The second Alien Piece is easily next to the swings. Down from the mountain, go left and then turn around the corner. You’ll notice the swings and some rocks next to it. The Alien Piece should be nearby.

The final piece is also nearby. From the second piece, you can see this building, which is the Jolly Apartment Complex. Behind it is the third Alien Piece.

Bring all three pieces with you and bring it to the Fusion Table here. Interact with it to Fuse Machinery and you’ll get the Metal Detector.

Invasions

Over at the pool area behind the Fusion Table, there’s a secret. To the right corner, drop down to find the Power Outage vendor. Using it will “curse the server” that summons slow-walking NPCs that’ll attack anyone, including you!
