Much like Terraria, Core Keeper’s endgame can be summed up by the number of world bosses you need to defeat. Conquering each boss will drop particular gemstones that you can use to unlock new resources for your world. It would take a lot of work to do this, but the results will pay off very handsomely.
One particular resource you’ll want to unlock is the Scarlet Ore. Read on to find out how to unlock this gem!
Where To Find Scarlet Ore
The whole premise of the game is to keep upgrading your “Core” to make use of the different upgrades the world will get once you collect a lot of them. Upgrading the core requires gems that you can get after defeating a world boss.
For Scarlet Ore to pop up in your world, you’d need to defeat the bosses: Glurch, Ghorm, and The Hive Mother.
Each boss you defeat will drop a gem that you must take back to your central core and place on a shrine. This will give you a new ability and unlock another biome once you walk to the outer wall and press E. The only thing left to do is to gear up and go to the new biome.
To get the ore, look for any spot shining in the dark and mine there. You’ll then get the Scarlet Ore if you’re lucky to stumble upon it.
After mining, go back to your base, and check your resources, this should unlock a new set of tools you can craft.
The Scarlet Ore is used to produce the Scarlet line of tools: pickaxe, sword, backpack, lantern, and fishing rod.
Once you build the Scarlet Workbench, you should have two new stations unlocked as well, namely the Distillery Table and the Automation Table. The rest is cosmetics, allowing you to make walls and floors to decorate your base.
