Palia is an adventure and life simulation game developed by Singluarity6 Corporation. Players step foot into the fictional world of Palia, where they can manage and build their houses while farming crops and forming relationships with the town’s residents.
Alongside farming and relationships, there are tons of engaging quests that players can take part in to help countless people around Palia. Who knows, you might uncover secrets while doing these quests as well. This guide will focus on the Fishing for Answers quest in Palia.
Fishing for Answers Quest
Quest Location
The Fishing for Answers quest can be obtained inside the lighthouse. There will be a desk on the ground floor on which you can read a letter. Once you read the letter, you can attempt the quest.
The quest requires locating the letters that the lighthouse keeper launched out into the sea. Finding them will help you unravel the mystery of the keeper and his friend.
Fishing for Letters
Since the quest information tells you that the letters were launched from the docks, you should head there. The docks are just behind the lighthouse, as shown in the map image below.
Once you are at the docks, take out your fishing rod and cast it out into the sea. It is important to not use bait of any sort since this will most likely result in fish biting the line. You do not want to use bait in order to maximize your chances of obtaining the letters.
As shown in the image above, this is when you will most likely get a letter. However, it might also be a fluke since small fish also have this sort of animation.
If it is a letter, upon reeling it in, you will get a Lighthouse Keeper’s Letter in your inventory. Repeat this process until you have three of these letters to proceed to the next part of the quest.
Keeper’s Secret Spot
After finding the letters and reading them, you will need to locate the secret spot of the Lighthouse Keeper. This is located on the giant rock in Lighthouse Lagoon. Simply glide from the lighthouse to the rock and climb on top of it.
At the top of the rock, you will find an NPC named Novcristiel and the final letter from the former Lighthouse Keeper. Interact with the dirt pile to get the letter in your inventory. Read the letter to find out the fate of the friends, and this will end up completing the quest.
