The Corsair MM300 is an easy recommendation, considering it has a status as a fan favorite among desk mat users. It’s just really solid overall, you can’t go wrong with it!
This desk mat comes in at 36.6 inches of length, and 11.8 inches of height. It’s a fairly standard size for a large desk mat, though sadly it’s the only size available.
The top of the mat is made of microfiber, which should provide good control over your mouse. You won’t get to blame it if you miss a shot when gaming, at least.

The build itself feels extremely nice and worth the elevated price tag. The top is made of a micro-textured cloth that works perfectly with every type of mouse, giving you great control over your aim.
The base is, as you might imagine, a standard no-slip rubber base. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, after all! There’s a reason this is the standard for desk mats and mouse pads.

This desk pad is thicker than the others on this list, being 0.15 inches thick. The rest are 0.12 inches thick, which is the standard thickness for desk mats and mouse pads. It might not seem like much, but it makes it quite cushy!
As for its other measurements, it’s 36 inches long and 16 inches higher. There are no other sizes available for this model, however!
The top of the mat is made of polyester. It’s quite responsive for mouse movement without being slippery. The base is, as you might have guessed by now, a standard non-slip rubber base.
Visually, there are three different designs to pick from, but they’re rather simplistic. Still, it’s nice to have some options!
Lastly, we should mention that this desk mat is comparatively expensive. It’s high quality and well made, though, so it’s worth it.

Slimmest Option: YSAGi Eco Cork PU Leather Desk Pad
It wouldn’t be fair to include a thicker pad and not include a thin one, right? Thankfully, this desk mat from YSAGi is here for us.
This desk pad is advertised as ultra-thin, and it certainly fits the part. While the spec sheet doesn’t list the actual thickness, it appears to be about 0.10 inches or less. That’s noticeably less than the standard 0.12-inch thickness of most desk mats.
Uniquely, the top side of this mat is made of PU leather while the base is made of cork. Yup, not rubber this time! Cork is quite great for preventing slippage, as well, however.

Similarly, there’s a variety of colors to pick from, though not all colors seem to be available in all sizes. A bit odd, but oh well.
