Hardcore Mode Solo Full Guide
Queue Solo
The first thing you want to do is to make sure that you are in a public solo lobby or are queuing yourself. This is an important step as it will ensure that you win the mode while also making the process of accumulating wins and rewards much quicker.
Daruma Game
Once you have loaded into the game alone, Daruma will wake you, starting the Daruma Game minigame. In this game mode, you will need to stop when the right is red and move while it’s green.
Keep calm and do not get frightened by Daruma’s face! Once you reach him, press the button behind his head.
Make sure you use Shift Lock for this game as it will ensure that you have sharper movement. Voting Game: Challenge
Next on the agenda is the Voting Game: Challenge. In this minigame, players must stack blocks on top of each other without fail or they’ll die.
You want to make sure that you have a low ping for this one since it relies on your reflexes a lot. Before attempting it in this mode, it is also good to practice it beforehand.
When you start, you should focus on a particular side that works best for you. For example, if you find that your focus is best in the middle, start stacking blocks in the middle. However, we recommend that you use the left for optimal results. This will ensure that you can succeed in this minigame everytime.
Doors, Doors, Doors!
The next minigame is Doors, Doors, Doors! This is a game mode that tests how good your attention to detail is. There is a trick here that you can take advantage of. After you finish the first door, you will enter inside a space to press a button.
At this point, use Shift Lock and Zoom Out to phase your POV out of the map. This will allow you to see which one is the correct door which can help save you time during Hardcore Mode runs. This way, you won’t have to look at differences and go directly to the correct door.
The game will try to trick you by flipping the doors. However, if the TV shows an upwards nose, then you want to pick the nose that faces downwards in this case as the doors are flipped. Another big danger that comes up is the fire spinner.
Sometimes when the spinner spawns, the rail will have a shorter end. You can take advantage of this by going to the shorter side and then examining the doors. Another great trick you can do is go up to the walls and spam jump with your back to it while holding the S button.
While holding, you won’t take any damage from the spinner and start jumping once you’ve figured out which door it is.
Hide N’ Seek
The next game is Hide N’ Seek. Since you are Solo in this game mode, you will get an instant win once it ends. So, you can just roam around the map and examine the decor, while also giving yourself a breather for the hardcore modes that come next.
Arctic Rush
After this comes the Arctic Rush minigame. This is a game mode that will depend on your skill level and practice. However, there are certain tips that can make this part more manageable. The first thing is that you should try to get power ups and boost as much as you can.
Additionally, it helps to go from one side of the map to another, so you can avoid traps that punish players for staying on only one side. There will also be a giant trampoline at the halfway point that will boost you up to the second part of the level.
At this point, do not make the mistake of jumping onto a ramp immediately after you land. This can cause you to die. Keep trying this minigame a few times to get the hang of it before jumping into Hardcore Mode. You will have mastered it in no time.
Monkey Game
The next game is Monkey Game, where you’ll have to dodge a giant monkey and hit him with rockets. This minigame will require a lot of patience and is by far the longest. The trick here is to bait him into attacks and then use rockets when you get an opening. This stage also has four phases to it.
During Phase 1, the monkey will have basic attacks like banana projectiles and swipes. During swipes, you want to make sure that you dash to the right to avoid it.
There is even a trick you can use, by flying the rocket into his head and landing into his head. This can kill him very fast but requires practice.
Once you’ve finished him off with the last rocket, this is where Phase 2 begins. He will have new attack patterns, where he will release bananas that follow you and Smash Attacks. The trick here is to go near him and dash away immediately after triggering the smash attack.
You can even hit him when he’s firing banana projectiles although this can be risky due to the smaller window of opportunity.
When he is in the Smash Attack animation, grab a rocket and hit while dashing away instantly. You should make sure that you are always using Dash so you can avoid his attack patterns.
If you try to hit him with a rocket without baiting the smash attack, he will swipe you instantly and kill you on the spot.
This is a mistake that many players make that causes them to fail their Hardcore Mode runs. Timing is key and at times you may even have to take the rocket away when you grab it, if you see that you grabbed it too late. This will help preserve your lives. Practice and learning his patterns can help a lot.
Phase 3 and Phase 4 will require the same tactics. However, in Phase 3 he will have a new attack with his head on the ground and a jump. You can predict when he’s about to jump by the fact that he will suddenly stand still.
In Phase 4, he will become faster and a bit more unpredictable. Additionally, he also gains fire damage near the end of the final phase. Use the same tactics by utilizing your dash and baiting his Smash Attack, using your rocket in this window of opportunity. After Phase 4, you will have defeated him.
Swordplay
The final game is Swordplay. Since you are Solo, you won’t have to worry about fighting anyone and will be granted an instant win when the game ends. Make your way to the arena, begin and you will win instantly.
Finishing all these minigames will grant you the win and give you some amazing rewards like 4xWins, 2xCoins and exclusive badges. You can grind these Runs to keep accumulating rewards that you can even trade in for amazing items like Cosmetics.
