We are going to go over How to Get an A+ in The Outlast Trials in this guide to clear up any confusion you may have and to help you stop getting poor grades from the trials.
Take a look at the table of contents below to see each section of this guide separately.
How to Get A+ Grade
Getting an A+ grade from missions in The Outlast Trials might be difficult, but it is not impossible. In fact, you can easily get it by knowing the right things, even while you are playing the game solo.
Players occasionally have incorrect knowledge of certain topics, which is frequently the root of their poor grades. We are going to correct all these mistakes in this guide. So, from today on, any mission you complete will earn you an A+.

Collect All Posters
You might think that collecting the posters while on a mission does not matter that much. Well, they actually matter more than you think. Whether you are playing the mission solo or with a group, it is impossible to get an A+ without collecting each poster on the map.
In solo gameplay, you will have to collect 3 posters, and if you are playing it with a friend, you are going to need to find 5 posters in total.
In case you see more than 3 or 5, collecting them as well might give you some bonus points as well. However, you should make sure to find all of them before leaving the trial.
Avoid Getting Damaged
The second most important thing is to get no damage or less damage while completing the trials. Getting hit one or two times will not stop you from getting an A+ Grade, but you should avoid getting hit more than that.
Unfortunately, you will probably not be able to get the grade if you take three damage or more. It could be challenging, but that is what sets it apart from an A or an A-.
Always Be Stealthy
If you are wondering how you will be able to get no damage during a trial, we should say that stealth is the key to that. There are a lot of voice traps around the map, and it might be difficult to notice them sometimes because of the darkness, but you need to be very careful so as not to alert any enemies.
Always be stealthy and look out for any glass on the floor, mines, trap doors, exploding ducks, or any hanging voice traps.
Failing while using the lockpick to open the boxes you found alerts the enemies as well. They will also do you damage, so you should be extra careful when dealing with them.
Avoid Being Gassed
After spending some time in the trial (or it can happen right away when you first enter if you are playing a more difficult level) the Pusher will come out of the steel double doors and try to find you.
If you let him catch you, he will spray you with his poisonous gas. If you inhale too much gas, you will get into a Psychosis and will need to use an antidote or run away from the Skinner Man until the effect wears off.
In case you do not have an antidote in your inventory at that point, you will either trigger voice traps while trying to run away from the Skinner Man, or he will catch you and deal you an incredible amount of damage.
Your grade will be greatly impacted if you are gassed too much, and your chances of receiving a good grade will be completely destroyed if more repercussions are added.
One important thing is that the Pusher is not the only one who can spray poisonous gas on you. You might avoid him by being stealthy and staying hidden, but you should also be aware of gas traps as well. Stepping on mines or opening gas-contaminated boxes also gives you the same damage.
The boxes and containers you open might have gas traps, and what is worst about this is that you cannot really tell if they have them or not before opening them. Therefore, you should take a step back and see whether they have it or not before taking an item.
Use the Supplies
You are going to see lots of collectibles around the map while playing a trial. Your first thought might be using less to get more points, but that is not correct. In fact, using them more gives you bonus points at the end of the trial.
So, do not wait to be chased to use the adrenaline shot you found, and use all pills even if you think you do not need them. Your main goal is to not get any damage or gas, but still use the health potions or the antidote as soon as you are affected.
You should use the bottles and bricks you found as well. You can either throw them right into enemies’ faces in desperate situations or use them to distract them. Whatever you do, try to make use of them as much as possible.
Help Your Friends
If you are playing the trial with a group, you should know that helping your friends in difficult situations will make you gain additional EXP. To do that, you should approach the enemy and kick them while they are attacking your team members.
However, you and your friend will have to run away immediately after doing this. The problem is that helping a friend in that scenario makes you run out of energy. You can get rid of it by purchasing the Hard Kick and Stay of Execution prescriptions.
It might be risky to attempt to save your friends from enemies without getting these prescriptions because the enemy is likely to catch you this time before you can run away.
Also, it might be okay to save your friends from The Pouncer or The Imposter without the prescriptions, but others might start running after you.
Take All the Time You Need
One thing that most of the players are not aware of is that the time you spend on trials is not that important. If you try to complete the trials in a short amount of time, you might risk stepping into the voice traps and getting noticed by the enemies around you.
So, you can actually hide as long as you feel safe, or you can spend some time collecting the posters you could not find even if you complete your objectives.
And that is all you need to know about how to get A+ Grade in The Outlast Trials. As you begin looking at the game this way, you are going to realize that getting an A+ is not that difficult at all.
