How To Assemble The Best Weapons
You unlock the Weapon Assembly feature after defeating the second boss, the Stalker (which is more of a miniboss, really).
Once unlocked, head to a specific vendor named Eugenie, where you’ll find the ‘Assemble Weapons’ option. You can find her on Hotel Krat to the right of Sophia, in her small workshop.
When assembling a weapon, you’ll encounter various choices, each with its weapon type, attack type (slashing or stabbing), and attack abilities scaled by a specific handle.
It’s vital to match the attack type with the weapon handle for optimal results. For instance, a slashing weapon pairs well with a slashing handle, like the Rapier handle. If you mismatch, the damage gets reduced.
Now, let’s dive deeper into blade types. Although it doesn’t affect regular strike damage, blade type matters. There are three categories: Great Sword, Sword, and Blunt Weapon.
The difference lies in Stagger damage, influencing how fast an enemy’s Stagger bar fills up.
