Payday 3: How to Invite & Play with Friends in Coop | Party Not Working Fix

Can we start playing already?

Payday 3 is officially out and fans of the series are having a blast as they go through the various heists in the game. However, not everything has gone smoothly during the launch. Many players want to play with their friends but can’t seem to play in a party because it refuses to work.

The Payday 3 official Twitter has acknowledged these issues and has also announced that they are working on a fix as soon as possible. In this guide, we will provide you with some ways that you can fox the party not working error and play with your friends. Let’s dive in.

How to Invite & Play with Friends in Coop | Party Not Working Fix

If you’re having a hard time trying to invite and play with your friends in Co-op, here are a few solutions you can try.

Join an Existing Lobby

One way in which you can fix not playing with your friends is to entirely leave the party and join an existing lobby.

Basically, one of your friends will join an existing online lobby and then quickly invite their friends into it.

Doing so, you will be able to play with your friends and not have to deal with the frustrating mess that the party system is right now.

However, it is possible that you may fail a few times since the game is pretty active right now with many players joining in for matches.

Search for Empty Lobbies

The other method borrows a lot from the first method and is suitable when you want to have a full crew with friends.

It involves you or one of your friends joining multiple online lobbies and hopping through them until you find a lobby that is completely empty.

After that, you can invite all your friends and they will be able to join the match. This way, you will be able to have a full crew with all your friends and enjoy the heist the way that it is intended.

Locating an empty lobby can be difficult so might have to do a lot of hopping around until you find one.

Keep Trying To Form a Party

If you are not a fan of the first two methods, we recommend that you keep persisting with the party method.

Essentially, you will need to keep trying to form a party and find a match. The problem is that the Payday 3 servers are struggling to keep up with the new influx of players.

As a result, if you keep trying, eventually you will be able to strike gold with your party and get to playing.

It will definitely take a few tries as the current state of the game is a bit unpredictable. Just remember to be patient if you want to play the way that the game intended with the party system.

Restart Game and Check Network Connectivity

Sometimes, the old tried and tested ‘Did you turn it off and on?’ method can save the day. Since the game is in such a messy state, restarting the game can allow the party method to start working for you and your friends.

Additionally, you and your friends should also check the status of your network connection as this can be an issue at times too.

We recommend that you restart your router or WiFi and then retry the party method above. Doing so can increase the chances of you getting into a game.

If none of these methods worked for you, then it is simply bad luck. Unfortunately, due to the state of the Payday 3 servers, problems are going to occur until these are resolved over the coming days. Remember to be patient, and you should soon be getting into heists with your friends.
