The new 2.0 update of Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out, and with it came tons of both new and reworked content. With the new cyberware system in place, all players have to visit the nearest ripperdoc in order to learn the new mechanics and install some new chrome in their bodies.
Having said all that, this guide will teach you how to get a cellular adapter, as well as explain what exactly it can do.
What is a Cellular Adapter & How to Get It
The Cellular Adapter is an upgrade that goes into your Integumentary System, and in addition to adding a lot of armor, it also increases your health and carrying capacity by a small amount.
It also enhances your explosion resistance, tech weapon damage, and the recharge speed of health items and grenades based on how many attribute points you’ve invested in Technical Ability.
Getting one isn’t hard, as most Ripperdocs will have it in stock, including Viktor Vektor, who you meet very early in the game. The price of this upgrade will vary depending on which tier it is, and it can get incredibly expensive at the 5th tier.
Despite how easy it is to find, it should be noted that it can be a bit difficult to actually acquire as it requires you to have a Technical Ability of at least 15.
In addition to that, you’ll also need to invest a few perk points into the skill tree as you must have the Built Different perk, which will require two points in All Things Cyber and three into License to Chrome.
You’ll also need a whopping 24 Cyberware Capacity in order to slot the upgrade into your body, so keep that in mind when you’re managing your augmentations.
