With Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC finally out, players are treated to a slew of new quests and other revamped content. The expansion itself adds several hours of story content that can potentially affect how the game ends.
With that said, this guide is for the quest The Killing Moon, wherein one of the objectives is to simply wait for Songbird to reach out to you.
Wait for News from Songbird Guide
During the quest The Killing Moon, you’ll have reached a pivotal point of Phantom Liberty’s story that will give you the objective of waiting for Songbird to give you a call. When you get this objective, you simply have to wait until it triggers.
Calling her yourself will not do anything, and sleeping repeatedly may not be guaranteed to get it to trigger. Instead, take your time and do some side gigs or other activities until she reaches out.
Prior to receiving news from Songbird, you’ll also get a call from Solomon Reed, who’ll rebuke you for your choice in the story. Feel free to respond with anything, as this is simply a warning that they’re coming for you.
After doing a couple of other side activities, Songbird will eventually call you and start the next phase of the quest, which will get you one step closer to the end of the expansion.
And that’s all you have to do while waiting for Songbird. It’s close to the end of the new DLC, and your choices throughout the next few steps will dictate your ending!
