Assassin’s Creed Mirage is finally out, and it features gameplay similar to the older, more stealth-focused entries of the franchise. One of the quests in the game, Contact the Rebels, includes an objective to free a handful of people from captivity. But where exactly are these rebels and how do you free them from the guards?
How to Free the Rebels | Contact the Rebels
After speaking to Beshi, you will be tasked with freeing the rebels nearby. There will be three of them, and each of them will be surrounded by guards.
So, either prepare for a fight or try your best to be stealthy.
Their general locations will be shown in the map. An easy way to pinpoint their exact spots is by using Enkidu, which you can summon by pressing the up button on your controller’s D-Pad.
With Enkidu, not only can you highlight the location of each prisoner, but you can also mark any nearby guards, which will be incredibly helpful if you’re trying to do this mission the sneaky way.
Doing this will also show you which guard is holding the key that you will need to free the last rebel, who is being kept behind a locked door.
Fortunately, even without using the eagle, the rebels are all very close to one another.
The first and most visible one is right on the boat, who is being watched over by a couple of guards.
The second one is under a tent close to the boat where you rescued the previous prisoner. If you marked their locations with Enkidu, you should be able to see the icon nearby.
Again, watch out for any nearby guards. There will be a bunch of them patrolling or sitting around nearby.
The third and last rebel is locked in a building opposite of the boat. You’ll need the key from one of the guards in the area, and an easy way to identify which of them is holding it is by marking them with Enkidu.
After rescuing all three of them, you’ll be asked to regroup with Beshi in a safe spot nearby, away from all the guards.
And that’s how you free the prisoners in Contact the Rebels. After meeting with Beshi, that should be the end of the quest, and you can proceed to other activities in the game!
