How to Fix Unable to Add Crossplay Xbox & PC Friends
First and foremost, ensure that you’ve got cross-play enabled in your Settings. That’s a crucial step. In order to do that, simply go to “More.”
From there, you can select the “Settings” and enable the “Cross-Platform Play” option, located under “PlayStation Network Settings.”
Also, double-check that you haven’t accidentally blocked the friend you’re trying to connect with.
Now, when you’re sending a friend request, make sure you type in their name accurately, exactly as it is. Send them the request, and you’re good to go!
On the Xbox side of things, you’ll need to enable cross-play as well. In order to do that, follow these steps:
- First, go to Settings.
- Navigate to Account and then Privacy and Online Safety.
- Then, select Xbox Privacy.
- Up next, select View Details and Customize.
- Up next, go to Communications and Multiplayer. From there, the “You can join cross-network play” option must be set on “Allow.”
- There you have it! You can accept friend requests on any browser or the app on your phone.
Now, if for some reason, this method doesn’t work, you can try adding each other by logging in on the PC or using the mobile apps.
