In The Front, I’ve got a quick guide for you on how to kickstart your PVE wave defense feature in the game. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this one. The early stages are a walk in the park; all you need is a basic spear, and you’ll be swimming in rewards. It’s a goldmine for resources like Eff Char, blueprints, salt, crude oil, and rare materials. So, without further ado, let’s take a look!
How To Start Waves & Enemies To Attack Your Base
Here’s the deal: head over to the Tech tree, then navigate to the Structures section. There, you’ll find the Spacetime Beacon and a creature lure.
Place your Spacetime Beacon strategically; I recommend the center of your base for optimal repair coverage and to keep a low profile.
The creature lure is where all the action begins – monsters will swarm there and then make their way to the Spacetime Beacon. Plus, you can load up your Spacetime Beacon with resources to keep your base in tip-top shape while you’re offline.
Once you’ve got both of these set up, you can further fortify your defenses by tweaking your settings.
Hold “F” to access the defensive settings, allowing you to decide when your base is vulnerable to PVP attacks. Choose your timing wisely to safeguard your hard-earned resources.
With your Spacetime Beacon and creature lure in place, it’s time to get started. Activate the Spacetime Beacon by selecting the “Receive” button. This will trigger waves of enemies to swarm your base.
If the mobs can’t reach your Spacetime Beacon without causing some property damage, you’ll get a warning message.
For instance, if your stairs are blocking their path, they might try to destroy them. Most zombies struggle with stairs, making this a good opportunity to eliminate them easily.
The early waves are a breeze, with only a handful of enemies, and the rewards are simply fantastic. This is, hands down, one of the best reward systems in the game, surpassing exploration and enemy encounters. So, invest time and resources in enhancing your base to excel in this mode.
Along with that is how to start the waves, and enemies will come to your base. I hope this guide helped you trigger and start waves to attack your base in The Front. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comment section below.
