Sewage In-Game Tutorial Guide
A well-built sewage system can have various beneficial effects on your citizens. As long as you know how to properly manage it, your city will see many positive growths.
First, you will need to place down a Sewage Outlet. To place it down, you will need to find a shoreline. Then, place the Sewage Outlet on the shoreline.
To avoid polluting clean water sources, place the outlet far from groundwater deposits and downstream from any Water Pumping Stations.
After that, your next goal will be to connect the Sewage Outlet. In order to do this, you will need to find the nearest road that has the built-in utility network.
The Sewage Piping will be highlighted while the Sewage Pipe is selected, and the Water & Sewage info view is active.
First, you’ll want to create a road utility system from the location of your Sewage Outlet to the nearest Road Utility Network.
In the image below, you’ll see that a new set of roads has been created and attached to the city’s utility road network.
Then, you will want to change to the Water & Sewage info view. After that, select a set of pipes and connect the Sewage Outlet to the Road Utility Network.
You will see that the sewage piping will be highlighted for you to help you easily manage your sewage system.
Once you have successfully connected the Sewage Outlet to your nearest road utility network, you will receive a notification on your screen.
This notification will qualify you as having the knowledge of how to build a city.
That is how you can complete the Sewage In-Game Tutorial in Cities Skylines 2! The most important thing that you want to keep in mind is to place your Sewage Outlet on a shoreline. Other than that, you’ll also want to avoid polluting groundwater deposits by placing the outlet somewhere further away.
