To keep things hyped and everyone informed, the Announcer in The Finals will talk every few seconds. But unlike the subtle robotic announcement in Apex Legends, the comments do get annoying. And if you’re one of those people playing with friends, you really don’t need an unnecessary fourth voice in your headphone. So, here’s how you can mute the announcer in The Finals.

How to Mute the Announcer

To mute the announcer, head to your Settings that you can open by pressing Esc. And then under the Audio option, you can adjust the Dialogue Volume to reduce the volume of the announcer.

Slide it the end until 0 and you are now free of his voice. You can also adjust other volume, such as the music or the SFX if they’re getting too loud.

You might have to also tinker with a few other settings in the game for the best experience. The Finals is, afterall, an FPS game with a lot of movement.

With so much going on your screen, you want to have the most comfortable visual clutter to make sense of what’s going on.

And that’s how you can mute the Announcer in The Finals. Of course, turning him back on is as easy as sliding the volume bar right up. Enjoy!
