Cities Skylines 2 is finally out, and with it comes a quite steep learning curve as it is one of the best, yet also complex, city simulators out in the market. Even seemingly simple tasks may not be clear at the start, and among these will be the process of placing and removing traffic lights. So, how do you do it?

How to Add & Remove Traffic Lights

First, you will have to click on the Roads icon on the lower middle part of the UI. From here, select the Road Services icon on the right to start customizing decorations and traffic signs.

This can be unlocked by progressing just past Basic Road Services and unlocking Advanced Road Services in the development tree.

This shouldn’t take too much time to unlock as it can be acquired very early on.

Now, going back to the Road Services selection from earlier, simply click on the Traffic Lights icon and left click on an intersection to place them down.

Removing them is also pretty simple. Just right click on the intersection and all of the traffic lights there should be deleted.
