Era of Conquest: Best Hero Tier List (Nov, 2023)

Era of Conquest has finally released with a slew of various heroes that you can choose to lead your armies and this tier list is to pick the best hero in the game. Using this tier list, you can try to strategize which hero you want to summon and have in your team. Of course, there’s also factors such as if you’re planning to invest and spend in the game.

We’ve got all the deeds and details to help you decide who you want to have in your team with this tier list.

Best Hero Tier List

You won’t be able to unlock all of the heroes right off the bat. It’s going to take a bit of time investing in getting enough summons to get who you want. Each hero has their own potential and we’re going to let you know why some heroes are where are in the tier list.

Do note the tier list can depend on your hero composition as well as the status effects that you use. Some heroes thrive with more Burn debuffs and others does only self-buff. Some support heroes help remove debuffs or provide big heals consistently.

S-Tier

• Leonidas is a better version of Mary Tudor, best for those of you who want to do a full Burn build. He has higher raw power compared to Mary Tudor and is just a straight up better version of El Cid.

• A solid addition to the Burn build is Oda Nobunaga who inflicts Burn damage to a target that doesn’t have it and cannot be reversed by Taunt or Share. He deals more damage to a Burned enemy, just like Empress Theodora.

• Queen Seondeok reduces 8% received damage with her Commands skill and on top of that 1 turn of Immunity. She’s a solid support hero who also grants Composure when another hero cast their skill. Another solid healer is Caesar who heals two targets every round and even remove debuffs.

• Alexander the Great has a chance to cast Taunt on 3 enemies for the first 4 rounds with a minor decreased damage to self. The Emperor Constantine can also Taunt enemies, a hero that specializes in tanking as he increases healing and damage dealt when he’s hit.

• Another solid Control hero Peter I has 100% chance with to inflict Silence or Disarm. On top of that, he can heal troops. Another unique hero is Richard I who steals 22.5% of the enemy’s STR, INT, and DEF as long as he’s not debuffed.

• Harald Fairhai comes with multiple attacks as well as heals if you hit the enemy’s Commander.

• The new hero Saladin has a chance of getting Batter effect and reduces DMG dealt and healing by 25% for the first 4 rounds.

A-Tier

• Charlemagne doesn’t do much compared to other heroes in this tier, but he gives 18% added probability to casting Active skills. That is a rare passive.

• Mary Tudor is one of the few F2P-friendly hero with decent Burn build who inflicts Burn for 2 rounds. Similar to her is El Cid, who also inflicts Burn and increased damage on burned enemies. A good support hero for Burn build is Guan Yu who can cast his skill again if an enemy is burning.

• Hermann is a good support choice for Burn build who comes with a chance of inflicting Taunt on every round. It comes with a minor DEF decrease on the enemy and minor DEF increase to allies.

• Another proper support you should build is Cleopatra. She provides consistent healing as well as reduce the enemy’s stats for several rounds.

• Li Shimin is a good hero for controling the enemy, inflicting Silence who gets better with another debuffer. Similarly is Yi Sun-Sin who also inflicts Silence as well as Disarm and then on top of those, Stun. Another good controller hero is Boudica will almost always inflict Disarm on enemy.

• Scipio is another Assault hero but has quite a low damage. However, he does come with a low chance of inflicting Silence.

• A main Panic hero, Ying Zheng uniquely also heals the troups, however they’re only on the 2nd and 5th rounds, which are limited. Pachakutiq is another great choice as a support healer and then buffing the commander’s Attribute on top of that.

• Toussaint Louverture is a main damager hero focused on Assaults and buff STR stats of other commanders.

• Assault hero Ragnar Lodbrok has similar effect to Baybars but better as he deals 1 extra attack if they have Forces rate higher than 50%.

B-Tier

• Tachibana Ginchiyo increases 9% Dodge to the Commander but does nothing more than that as a support. Hojo Tokimune is a support character that grants STR and increase damage, but doesn’t do damage at all. Pericles has way too many requirements to activate his skill.

• Baybars has a straightforward skill. He deals extra attacks to 2 more enemy units. Ivan IV is another hero with pretty lackluster skill similar to Baybars. Jean of Arc‘s active skill similarly does nothing more than doing an extra Tactical Attack for a chance. Frederick I also falls under this tier for the same reason.

• Another hero that you can opt out is Darius the Great who can only cast Resistant to himself at a very low chance.

• Hannibal is one of those heroes who do not sync with other heroes well. He increases his own STR by a lot every round and it stacks. But the requirement is for no heroes to cast any Active or Assault skill.
