Genshin Impact: Locked Well Hydroculus Puzzle Weeping Willow of the Lake

Sometimes, a game teases you with loot or cool items in view but out of reach. In these times, you usually have to solve a puzzle or find a way to get there. In Genshin Impact, it’s common sight to see a Hydroculus that is locked behind something like the one in the Weeping Willow of the Lake region in Fontaine. This one is even inside a well you just can’t simply jump down to.

In this guide, we’ll show you how you can get this Hydroculus in this region. Now, let’s get ready to dive down into this mess to get that thing inside the well!

Locked Well Hydroculus Puzzle Weeping Willow of the Lake

To the east of the Weeping Willow of the Lake in Genshin Impact, is a fork on the road where there is a well with a Hydroculus inside. You can use the image below as a reference for where it exactly is.

When you look down the well, you can see that there’s a metal grate on it. Below that is a Hydroculus and sadly, we can’t break the thing blocking our way, that would have been too easy. Instead, head to the east of the well.

There, you’ll find a pond with greenish waters and a couple of enemies floating above it. Further east is a blue orb that you can interact with to get its power.

You can use that to remove the enemies floating around the pond and make it blue again.

Once that’s done, you can then dive into the pond and go to the bottom where there is a portal. Go near it and interact with it to go to the other side.

Once you’re on the other side, you’ll see that you’re in a cave. Go out of the water and then head to the right.

There, you’ll find a ladder that goes up. Above that ladder is the Hydroculus that you can then get since this place is actually below the well!

You can then use the lever next to the Hydroculus to open the well and get out. Or you could just teleport away.

That’s how you can get the Hydroculus in the Weeping Willow of the Lake in Genshin Impact. Now, go out there and try to get it yourself!
