With the vast area of Genshin Impact’s map, and more of it being added in future updates, they’ve added a lot of activities around it. The game is quite beautiful, and you can explore the game and enjoy the views while also getting rewards from it. That’s because the game gives you an incentive to explore and those are treasure chests and puzzles, like the item, Liam’s Ballad!
In this guide, we’ll show you where you can find Liam’s Ballad, an item that can point you to a chest filled with loot. Now, let’s see where we can find this item!
Liam’s Ballad Location
When going through and exploring the underwater areas of Fontaine, you might find items that lead to chests filled with loot.
One of these items is Liam’s Ballad and to get it, you’ll need to head to the north of the Tower of Ipsissimus on a patch of water shown below.
You can use the Morte Region, Fontaine Teleport Waypoint which is the closest one to the area.

When you get there, you’ll find a broken-down ruin of a wall with a window. On one side of the wall is a clam and when you go near it, you can interact with it.
Doing so will open the clam and you can pick the item inside which is Liam’s Ballad.
What is the item for anyway? Well, if you use the item in your inventory, you can see a small map of where some treasure is located.
If you want to skip the part of solving where that map is pointing at then just go to the small island northeast of the Fort Charybdis Ruins. You can use the image below as a reference.
There, you’ll find an NPC Treasure Hoarder that you’ll need to defeat. This is more like a mini-boss and should be pretty easy. Once you defeat them, a chest will appear and you can get the rewards inside!
That’s where you can find the Liam’s Ballad item and where it leads in Genshin Impact. Now, go out there and try to get it yourself so you can get some nice loot!
