Long ago, before pieces of paper became a hot currency, our distant relatives used to exchange goods of equal value instead. However, crafty or unscrupulous individuals, as always, have found a way to get more than what they bargained for less.
That’s what you’re going to learn today in Anime Adventures. Well, we’re not going to teach you how to commit daylight robbery, people are smarter than that now, somewhat. We’re just here to make sure you won’t end up in the red while trying to trade in your unique units. Check out the rest of the trading guide below to find out more!
Complete Trading Guide
We’ll be focusing on what you can and can’t trade for today’s guide. Any unit you get that has the words “Limited” accompanied by red text will be the tradeable units in the game.
Some examples of this are Infinity Castle units that you receive from the stars at the end of each season. Each season usually ends after three to four updates. Also, another way to get units is through events.
Events will sometimes bring limited time banners or stars. Every unit that’s part of the event will become tradeable once it’s finished. Depending on whether if the unit is shiny or not, its value will go up.
Typically, with new units that aren’t currently tradeable, their values are not known until two weeks later. This value will only update once they’re tradeable.
However, the value won’t always determine everything as you still have Tiers to worry about. You can view this trading spreadsheet the local community made if you want to stay in the loop.
Tiers range from S to C Tier that determines the worth of each unit. Go further into each tier and you’ll also find that they have their own subtiers ranging from Top, High, Mid, and Low.
Keep an eye on Demand as well. The higher tier unit you get, the more likely the demand will go up along with it. If you have a unit on the list with a demand of 1 or 2 then just keep it for yourself. In short, you’re going to base off everything most of the time on Value alone.
A lot of people look for higher or equal value in their trades. For example, a player is looking to trade for a Shiny Homura. She has 3,650 value and a demand of 8. That will get people to ask for something along the lines of Android 21’s value or even a Blue Devil.
On a side note, you may want to keep a close eye on the Trends. Just like in real life (I have no idea what I’m talking about) something will eventually get Hyped.
That will cause people who have the unit to sell it at exorbitant prices. There’s also the opposite, which is Declining, which explains itself rather clearly.
Be on the lookout for Unstable trends too. There are times where you’ll get high overpay for your units. There are also other times where you get lowballed into giving out your units for less. Always resort to the spreadsheet if you want to know what you’ve got.
Overall, you may want to keep a hold of some of your units before you trade them in. What’s a clear no-no, however, is you trading in anything that’s in C-Tier. That applies to B-Tier units as well, as they really won’t do much for you.
Now, to start trading, you have to be at least level 40. After that, you can go to a public Roblox server and post what you’re trading. You can do that by simply typing in the chat that you’re up to do some trading.
Make sure to have the item on you before the actual act of trading starts. If not then there’s a chance of you getting banned for faking trades. This applies very well to the Trading Tabs in Discord as well if you’re doing your trades there.
The last thing you have to worry about is the Trade Tax. Of course, there has to be a middleman somewhere. These take the form of gems that balance out the value of what you’re trading.
Let’s say you’re trading in a skin for a unit. Skins have a little less value than units do so you’re going to pay extra in gems in order to equate that trade.
It needs to be said that the gems do not go to either players. Nobody will walk out happy when gems get involved. But if you have nothing of equal or lesser value to tip the scales, then you better have gems at the ready.
