Remnant 2 allows players to explore a terrifying world that is full of horrifying monsters and creatures. They have a variety of weapons and traits that they can use to help in their journey for survival. The new DLC has added further new content that players can acquire or unlock. This includes the Dark Pact trait, which provides some interesting effects.
However, unlocking the Dark Pact Trait is not immediately forward. There is some scavenging and looking around that you will need to do before you are able to obtain it. In this guide, we will show you exactly how you can get the Dark Pact Trait. Let’s dive in and see how you can start benefiting from it immediately.
How to Get Dark Pact Trait
The process for unlocking the Dark Pact Trait starts with locating bells on the Forlorn Coast area. There are a total of 3 Bells that you need to locate and shoot.
After shooting a bell, enemies will spawn, and you will need to clear all of them out. Doing so will grant you the Dark Pact Trait.
Since the maps are procedurally generated, I won’t be able to give you all the location for the bells. However, I’ll give you locations that will spawn for everyone.
Here are the locations for each of the bells, and how you can find them.
Bell Location #1
The First Bell can be found in the following location on the Forlorn Coast shown below. We recommend that you start by spawning at the Drowned Wren, as this is the closest spawn location to the area. After that, you can simply go through the city until you reach the area on the map.
When you arrive at this area, you will see a giant bell hanging above. You will need to shoot the bell.
However, keep in mind that once you shoot the bell, enemies will start spawning. You will need to clear every single enemy here as this is a requirement. So, be prepared for a battle before you shoot the bell.
Bell Location #2
For the second bell, we recommend that you start by spawning at the Palace of the One True King. Once you do so, immediately turn towards the left and go towards the closest yellow glowing doorway that is indicated in the map below.
After you go through it, you will find yourself in a small courtyard. Go to the left and follow the only path ahead.
Eventually, you should be able to see the second bell in an open area. Get near and shoot the bell. After that, clear out all the enemies that attack you. Doing so will get you one step closer to getting the new DLC trait.
Bell Location #3
The Third Bell is quite close to the second bell. However, the path to finding it is very elaborate. We recommend that you start by spawning at the Palace of the One True King again. The goal is to get to the yellow doorway that is at the bottom of the Palace.
Start by walking a bit ahead and then turning to the left. This path leads up some stairs.
Go up the stairs until you see a doorway on the left, about halfway up the stairway. Immediately, drop through the gap in the balcony to the area below. There may be some enemies here so be careful.
After that, follow the stairs below and continue going down. Eventually, you should reach the yellow doorway and be able to exit the Palace.
After you leave the Palace, immediately turn towards the right.
Keep following the path ahead until you reach a dead end. Look up towards the right and you should be able to see the third bell hidden next to the Palace outer walls. Shoot the bell and clear out any enemies that start spawning.
Dark Pact Trait
If you manage to shoot all three Bells and kill all the enemies that spawn, you will be able to complete your objective. Doing so will grant you the Dark Pact Trait immediately.
Go into your Traits Menu and you will be able to find it there. Since you have not upgraded it, the Trait will not provide you with any benefits. However, as you level it up, you should be able to increase its effectiveness.
At Level 10, this trait Reduces Grey Health Regen Rate by a maximum of 90%. There you go, you have gotten the new DLC trait!

We highly recommend that you remain prepared before you shoot the bells, as sometimes the enemies can start overwhelming you. However, the effort is worth it, as the trait provides some interesting benefits!
