With the release of Super Mario RPG Remake comes a lot of both new and familiar mechanics and puzzles. There is a wide range of equipment to collect in the game, and among them is Booster’s Charm, which can be quite tricky to get and can easily be missed in a playthrough. With that in mind, here is a quick guide on how you can get it!
How to Get Booster’s Charm | Missable Accessory
First of all, before you attempt to get this accessory, make sure that you have a save file ready that will conveniently let you retry the challenge in the event that you fail.
The charm can only be acquired during your first visit to Booster Tower. Upon reaching the final room, there will be a lengthy minigame in which you have to hide behind a bunch of curtains.
It will increasingly get difficult, as more Snifits will join in on the curtain opening action. All you have to do is run around and make sure that you don’t get caught when they open the curtains.
If you’re successful, Booster himself will open the final curtain and expose Mario from his hiding place. Once that happens, a short cutscene will ensue and Booster will reward you with his charm.
In the original game, this accessory was simply called the Amulet. It provides the wearer with buffs to almost every stat, but it reduces your speed by 5. It also cuts the damage taken from elemental effects in half.
That’s pretty much all you need to know when it comes to acquiring Booster’s Charm. The minigame itself may not be too challenging, but make sure to save your game first just in case you get caught!
