Roblox Bedwars: Complete Season 9 Update Guide

Roblox Bedwars is pretty much the Roblox version of Bedwars, a popular game mode that has also appeared in other games like Minecraft. The concept of Bedwars is that you will be in a match where the primary objective is to destroy someone else’s bed, all while fighting the people that are protecting their beds.

It’s a fun game you can play with your friends, and with the upcoming Season 9 update nearing, now’s a good time to jump in and have fun. But what can you expect to pop into the game? In this guide, I will show you everything you need to know about Season 9 of Roblox Bedwars.

New Lobby & Battle Pass

Roblox Bedwars is going to have a lot of cool things coming in the new update. One of them being a new lobby where you can meet up with your friends and go into games together.

It is a very beautiful fantasy location featuring castles and other medieval fantasy or fairy tale stories and other related things from recent media.

Of course, with a new season, we also have a new Battle Pass coming along with it. Just like all other Battle Passes, you will have the free and premium versions along with it.

The free Battle Pass will include some nice rewards, but of course the premium version will have even better rewards, and some of them are really cool.

Battle Pass Kits

Yamini Kit

One such reward you can get from the premium Battle Pass at level 20 is the Yamini kit. From the image alone, the Yamini kit bears a resemblance to a cat, and it makes sense due to the ability of the kit.

For starters, with the Yamini kit equipped, you will be able to climb up walls no problem. Any wall you can find, you can climb up it instantly.

Another thing that will definitely sound promising to some of you is the fact that the Yamini kit, when equipped, will half all fall damage. That means that if you get fall damage, you will only take half of the full damage, just like most cats in the real world.

It also has an ability called Pounce that acts like an extra dash to help you get across large gaps. It can also do damage too when pounced on a player.

Cogsworth Kit

Another kit that you can get in the Battle Pass is the Cogsworth kit, which is a steampunk-esque kit. You won’t have to get premium Battle Pass as this kit is available for free at level 30.

This kit has a really special ability that is tied to a couple of companions in the game. I’ll explain the ability after this one.

Dimmy and Emmy are robots that, when placed in the arena, will start making their way to collect Diamonds and Emeralds. Dimmy is the one that collects Diamonds, while Emmy is the one that collects Emeralds.

It’s a good kit that helps you focus more on other resources as Dimmy and Emmy will be able to collect Diamonds and Emeralds for you.

Bear in mind that while your robots are out there, enemy players can attack them and destroy them. You can only have 8 active robots (4 each), so make sure to immediately build another bot when one of them gets destroyed.

Remember when I said that there’s a special ability tied to this kit? Well, there is. The Overclock skill is a very useful skill that will have your robots fight back, shocking any enemy players that are near it for 5 seconds.

Once popped, the skill will have a cooldown of 30 seconds, so make sure to use it at the right time.

Noelle Kit

The next kit on the Battle Pass is Noelle. This one can only be obtained when you get the premium Battle Pass at level 40. Noelle is a cool kit that has slimes as companions.

These slimes are called Blessed Slime, Void Slime, Sticky Slime and Frosty Slime. Once you have bought all of the slimes, you will be able to use them throughout the match.

With these slimes, you can either use them by yourself or you can distribute them to your teammates.

It definitely helps to have a companion backing up other teammates but having 4 extra companions with you is also pretty good, mostly because you can switch between the slimes at any given moment.

Each slime has different abilities that you can use. For example, the Blessed Slime has a healing ability, and the Frosty Slime has the ability to imbue your attacks with frost damage.

Each slime will have their own ability that you can use at any time, but that only depends if all slimes are with you. If they’re with other teammates, then your teammates will be able to use those abilities, not you.

Terra Kit

The next thing you can get on the Battle Pass is the Terra kit. This is unlocked when you reach level 50 on the Battle Pass, but only if you have premium on.

It’s said that this is quite possibly the best kit in the entire game right now, but very complicated to use. One such skill you can use with the Terra skin is the Block Stomp ability.

Basically, when standing on any part of the map and you use the Block Stomp ability, you will be able to bring out 5 blocks from the ground that you can now pick up.

You can then use the blocks that you have picked up and throw them at the enemy. Each hit with the blocks increases in damage as well. However, this skill has a whopping 40 second cooldown, so be sure to use it at the right time.

New Gameplay Mechanics

Remember Cogsworth’s little robotic pals, Dimmy and Emmy? Well, they are added to the game because the maps have all been updated to have brand new gameplay mechanics, which are the Diamond and Emerald Generators.

Basically, each map will have brand new generators that you can reach and grab diamonds and emeralds.

Here are the confirmed maps to have been reworked for this new gameplay mechanic:

  • Blossom (Squads & Duos)
  • Seasonal (Squads & Duos)
  • Darkholm (Squads & Duos)
  • Sand Shrine (Squads & Duos)

You might also notice that there are maps that have been removed from the game. Don’t worry, as this is only temporarily.

The maps not mentioned were removed so they can be reworked with the new generators. Once they are done, they will be added back into the map.

Here are the other confirmed gameplay mechanics that were added or changed for the game:

  • HP is now back to 100 after being 150.
  • The Forge has been removed (as well as the weapons associated with it).
  • Deconstruction and Diamond Gen have been removed.
  • New upgrade called Era at the Diamond Shop.
  • Damage in the Diamond Shop is now cheaper.
