Tower Defense X: How To Beat Expert Mode on Secret Forest | Roblox

There are a lot of maps that you can try to clear in Tower Defense X and each one of them has its ways to challenge you. Some maps are short and easy while others can be tough. Not only that, but you can also increase the difficulty for more rewards. One of the maps is the Secret Forest and it can be tough in Expert Mode.

In this guide, we’ll show you how you can beat the Secret Forest in Expert Mode in Tower Defense X. Now, let’s see what towers we’ll need and where to place them!

How To Beat Expert Mode on Secret Forest | Roblox

The Secret Forest is one of the harder maps to beat in higher difficulties. That’s because the map doesn’t have that much space and the path is shorter than most.

Not only that, but there’s only one area where you can effectively clump up your towers to deal as much damage as possible. It is possible to beat it through and here’s how.

Tower Needed

Here are all the towers we’ll be using to beat this map in Expert Mode:

• Farm
• Patrol Boat
• Laser Gunner
• EDJ
• Juggernaut
• Mine Layer

Wave 1 – 5

In the first couple of waves, you’ll want to place a Patrol Boat just below the bridge on the map. This can clear out most of the early waves with ease. Build a farm as well and upgrade it to 2-1 as soon as possible.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll want to place a Laser Gunner on the “U” path after the bridge and upgrade it to 1-1. This will help it cover the entire path and kill off stragglers from the boat as you near wave 5.

Wave 6 – 10

At the start of wave 6, upgrade the Laser Gunner to 1-2 then later 2-2. Afterwards, add another Laser Gunner next to the first one and upgrade it to 2-2 as well.

Nearing wave 10, upgrade the Patrol Boat to 3-2. At Wave 10, make sure to change your tower’s targets so it shoots at the Grenadier so that it won’t spawn more mobs.

Wave 11 – 19

At around Wave 11, place another Laser Gunner next to the first two and upgrade it to 2-2. Start adding more farms until you have 4 and upgrade most of them to 2-2. Place a Laser Gunner near the spawn and upgrade it to 2-2 as soon as possible.

At around Wave 16, place an EDJ so that it covers the 3 Laser Gunners and upgrade it to 0-4. And at the same time, upgrade the one near the spawn to a 2-3.

Afterwards, upgrade the EDJ to a 0-2. Then add another 2-2 Laser Gunner to the group. Finally, try to upgrade the Laser Gunner near the spawn to 2-4.

Wave 20 – 25

Upgrade the Laser Gunner near the spawn to 2-5. Place another EDJ in the Laser Gunner group and upgrade it to 3-0. Then, make sure the main group of Laser Gunners are at least 2-4.

At around Wave 25, upgrade the EDJ from 0-4 to 2-5.

Wave 26 – 29

Start adding a bunch of Laser Gunners inside the “U” area. Then, keep on upgrading them to the 2-5 path. Add around 3 Laser gunners and start upgrading them to the 5-2 path.

At around Wave 29, start adding Juggernauts in the area shown below and place a 3-0 EDJ on them to buff them.

Wave 30

This is one of the tougher waves in the level. As the wave starts, try adding as many Mine Layers as possible around the track. They’ll act as bait or decoys for the enemy attacks while also dealing some damage.

The Laser Gunner near the spawn will most likely die, so make sure to sell it before it reaches 0 HP. At the end of the wave, start upgrading a couple of the Mine Layers near the end of the track to 2-5.

Wave 31 – 35

Start upgrading your Juggernauts to 5-2 while upgrading the EDJs to their max paths. Then, add more Mine Layers and keep upgrading them to 2-5. Make sure you also upgrade any of your Laser Gunners that are still not maxed out.

Wave 36 – 39

Place a 2-5 EDJ near the spawn and then start placing 2-5 Juggernauts around it. Sell any of the Mine Layers that are blocking the area shown below so you can place the towers.

At around Wave 39, you’ll want to place as many Mine Layers as possible around the map. This is to act as bait for the massive missile attack of the boss.

Wave 40 (Final)

A lot of your towers will die in the final wave, don’t panic. Sell all your farms at the start of the wave and start replacing any lost towers with 2-5 Juggernauts. At this point, you should have a lot of money on the path that will help you defeat the boss near the end.

Just keep on replacing lost towers with Juggernauts and keep the damage going. The boss should be defeated when it reaches the cluster of mines at the end.
