There are a lot of different maps that you can play in Tower Defense Simulator. Some of them can be quite challenging and it’s easier with friends. If you don’t have anyone to play it though, there are some ways you can do them solo. All you need to have is a plan and the right towers to do the job. In the Polluted Wasteland map, the Engineer tower is what you need.

The Polluted Wasteland II looks like an easy map with many loops for your towers to constantly be shooting but don’t be fooled.

The enemies in this map can be quite tough, and some of them are fast and can easily go through the loops. That’s why we’ll need a plan to beat it.

Make sure to go check out our Executioner guide if you haven’t already!

Towers Needed

Here are the towers we’ll need to beat the Polluted Wasteland II map solo:

  • Engineer
  • Scout
  • Farm
  • Commander
  • DJ Booth

Wave 1 – 9

For the first few waves, it’s going to be simple. You’ll just need to put a scout and upgrade it on the area shown below.

This should be enough to get you through to Wave 9. Afterward, you’ll want to start placing farms and upgrading them to at least level 3 before adding more.

Wave 10 – 11

At around the start of Wave 10, you’ll want to place a DJ Booth in the area shown below. Then upgrade it to Level 3. This will be the main tower that will buff the engineers later on.

At around Wave 13, you’ll want to place down your first engineer in the area shown below. Then, make sure to upgrade it to the maximum level. Once it has made a lot of turrets, you can then sell the Scout.

Wave 12 – 25

At this point, you’ll want to continue upgrading your farms to the maximum level. Do the same with the DJ booth and add 2 more Engineers to the blob. Please make sure they’re all under the DJ Booth’s zone of effect.

You’ll also want to place at least 3 commanders near the DJ Booth to deal with waves where the turrets can’t aim at the enemy. Upgrade them to at least level 3.

Continue upgrading your farms and Engineers before adding new ones later on.

Wave 25 – 40

After having 3 maximum-level engineers, you can then start adding more and more. At this point, you’ll just keep on adding an engineer, upgrade it to the maximum level, and repeat.

Make sure most of them have space to build their turrets and be in the zone of the DJ Booth.

With the amount of turrets and engineers on the map in the later stages most enemies won’t even survive for 5 seconds. It’ll also lag your game with all the turrets on the screen.

When the boss appears in the final wave you should have enough engineers to kill it. If not, then just add more and remember to upgrade it to maximum.

At half health, it will do an AOE attack that will wipe out the turrets, but the Engineers will easily replace them. The boss will probably die before it reaches the halfway point.

That’s how you solo triumph over Polluted Wasteland II with engineers in Tower Defense Simulator. Now, go out there and try to do it yourself!
