Blackout is an open-world combat game that you can play on Roblox. Even though the game is still in the beta phase, there are so many things that you can discover as a beginner. Beginner’s Guide

In this beginner’s guide, we are going to talk about all the basics of Blackout. By the end of this guide, you will have learned all the things that especially matter when you first start the game.

We are going to talk about loots, the mini-map, how to level up in the game, how to obtain your first weapon, and how to use the parkour system to your advantage.

Loots

There are two types of loot you can get in Blackout. These are the Free Loot and Lock Loot. The Lock Loots require you to use a lockpick and open certain locks.

You can either find lockpicks lying around the map or you can pay 10 dollars to purchase them. Either way, it is not too difficult to obtain lockpicks in the game.

When you are trying to open a cash box with lock loots, you simply just need to rotate the lockpick until you hear the click sound. It is pretty easy to understand and use.

And Free Loot can be opened without any lockpick. The cash boxes that have the free loots inside will not have any lock and you will be able to collect the items inside without needing to use a lockpick.

Mini Map

On the upper left of your screen, you are going to see a mini-map. There are three different types of dots on that mini-map, and each of them has a different letter that shows the location of different things. These are:

• B (Broker): The NPCs who give tasks, exchange valuables for money, and claim bounties.
• M (Merchant): The NPCs who sell every useful item in the game and purchase everything for half price. You can get guns, melees, gear, utility, and anything you can get in the game.
• T (Terminal): The terminals are the locations that you can use for depositing your money, claiming allowances, stashing your items, and purchasing game passes.

How To Level Up

If you want to level up in the game, you should go to the Broker and get some tasks for yourself. We recommend you complete these tasks with a friend when you first start the game. It is not going to be very easy for you to complete them without any help.

However, the best way to level up in this game is doing raids. When you try to raid, you are going to need to get inside the enemy zone and try to steal their items.

While some raid zones are going to be more difficult than others, some of them are pretty easy to complete. One good example of an easy raid is the military base. You can easily jump over the fences to get inside that area.

Once you get inside, you are going to need to fight military NPCs. When it is time to leave the area, you are going to need a key to leave.

The key can be dropped by any NPC there, therefore; you should keep fighting and defeating them until you find a key that unlocks the door that will lead you outside of the zone.

After you defeat every military NPC there, you are going to receive two blue key cards.

These will help you get inside the Bunker. Which is one of the most difficult zones in the game. It will not be easy to complete that raid, but it will give you some pretty important loot in return.

The Bunker

The Bunker is the main location of Blackout. It has the most difficult security, and it holds precious loots inside like riffles and ammo. You are going to need to have at least two blue key cards with you.

Having only two of them will get you inside, but you have to make sure you have extra cards so that you can leave the area when you are done with it.

Your First Weapon

If you are a beginner in Blackout, you should know that you do not have to waste your money to purchase a weapon from the Merchant NPC.

Instead, you should try to focus on finding lockpicks around the map and use them to unlock the Locked Loots.

There are lots of things you can use your money for in the game, but weapons are not a part of that list.

You can find precious weapons and items by opening locked loots. Therefore, you should not waste your money on purchasing them. You are going to see how easy for you to find them in those vaults.

Parkour System

You are going to notice that surviving in the game is not very easy when you are just a beginner in the game.

Any other player might try to take you out at any point in the game. Since you are not going to have a powerful weapon as a beginner, you are going to need to run away.

Luckily, the Blackout has a parkour system that you can use to your advantage. You can pretty easily parkour your way out of danger if another player is following you.

Of course, you will need to spend some time practicing it, but you are going to learn how to parkour probably in only an hour.
