Elemental Dungeons: Tank Questline Complete Guide

Time to increase our defenses!

Elemental Dungeons Tank Questline Complete Guide

Doing quests in video games can be fun but also confusing when you get lost and don’t know what’s the next step. Maybe you stopped playing the game mid-quest, or you just got lost.

Whatever the case, it’s good to get your bearings with a quest guide. In Elemental Dungeons, there’s the Tank quest line and it’s a bit lengthy.

In this guide, we’ll show you how you can complete the Tank Questline in Elemental Dungeons. We’ll go through all of its steps and what you’ll need to do. Now, let’s see what this quest is all about!

Tank Questline Complete Guide

The quest has the hallmark of your average quest in any RPG. It has grinding, fetch quests, RNG, and a riddle.

With the new Update 4, comes new content and one of that is the Tank Quest line. This is great for tank builds since it’ll double the effects of each point of defense you have!

Starting The Quest

To start the quest, you’ll need the hub area and go to the left of the leaderboards. There, you’ll find a stone archway, go through that and the other one at the back.

Keep following the road keeping an eye to the left.

Elemental Dungeons Tank Quest Start Location

You’ll find this NPC clad in some cool red and gold armor. Talk to him to start the quest, and this is where the fetch quest is.

The “Strong Buff Dude” as the game calls him will give you the task of getting 5 mushrooms.

At least it’s not killing 5 rats in a basement like the start of a bad adventure story! To get mushrooms, you’ll need to go to the Jungle Dungeon.

Collect 5 Mushrooms

To get the mushrooms, you’ll want to start a Dungeon run and select the Jungle map. You can play this on any mode, and I suggest doing this on medium, so it won’t be a hassle. The hassle comes later!

Keep on defeating the mobs in the dungeon until they drop a Mushroom. You’ll need 5 of them so keep on fighting until you have enough!

Unlock A Chest Where The Snow Falls

Once you’ve given the buff dude the mushrooms, he’ll give you a key. As per RPG tradition, he doesn’t just tell you where the chest is.

He’ll say that it opens it in a place where snow falls.

Elemental Dungeons Strong Buff Dude Key

The chest in question can be found in Snow Castle Dungeon. You’ll want to do this in Hardcore Mode since you’ll need to restart a lot. This is where the RNG of the quest is.

Once you’re in the dungeon, go to the area where the Miniboss is. There, you’ll find a throne on top of some stairs. Above it is a Rock Formation and on top of that is where the chest spawns.

The thing is it’s not a guaranteed spawn, so if it’s not there, you’ll need to restart the dungeon again and again until you get it!

Once you do find the chest, open it with the key and you’ll get an Evil Essence Item. This is an important item for the last step of the quest.

Collecting Ingredients

Once you’ve opened the chest, go back to the Strong Buff Dude. Talk to him and he’ll then ask you to give him the following items:

  • 4 Nature Orbs
  • 2 Angel Orbs
  • 12 Lunar Shards
  • 1 Evil Essence
Elemental Dungeons Strong Buff Dude Materials

Once you have all of the materials go back to him and talk to him for the final time. That will complete the quest and one thing you’ll immediately notice is that you’ll have more HP!

That’s if you have points in defense of course.

That’s how you can complete the Tank quest line in Elemental Dungeons. Now, go out there and try it out yourself!
