Best Storm Delve Method Guide

Storm Delving is a brand-new mode, so it can be confusing for players to understand. So, we will cover everything you need to know about it.

Also, consider checking out the new Fullbringer and progression guide which is part of the new update too.

Storm Delving Location

When you boot up the game and spawn in, you can’t directly join the Storm Delve mode. You will need to look for a particular NPC that you can find in the Heart Cave.

Simply fast travel to Urahara and it will only be a walking distance from there.

When you are in the Heart Cave, make your way towards the back where you can see a structure. Further towards the back, there will be a large tree with a grave next to it.

Here, you will see the Erelander Lathrix NPC wearing a red mask.

Before you talk to him, make sure that you Lvl 80 at a minimum. Otherwise, you will not be able to talk to him or take part in the Storm Delving Mode.

If you have the requirement, you can continue and select the dialogue option to proceed.

From there, you can select whether you want to play as Solo, Duo or Trio. Additionally, you can even choose which server you want to play on. After that, you will be asked to pay 500 Yen if you want to join in a game.

Each time you try to join a game, you will need to pay this fee as an entry. However, the potential rewards that you can get from Storm Delving is well worth the effort.

Best Storm Delving Method Explained

The premise of Storm Delving is that you spawn in a randomly generated map with other players. Your goal is to kill bounties with the abilities that you have, steal their loot and escape with your life.

You have items like the Delving bag that you can take with you, which is basically your Inventory.

We highly suggest that you upgrade your Delving Bag, which you can do by speaking to the Erelander Lathrix NPC.

You can also fight NPCs and obtain Storm Items, which are basically Godly Accessories that you can get from Storm Delves.

As you play, you can also find Perk Stones that will provide extra buffs to your Accessories. So, we highly suggest finding these as they can help you out in battles.

You can also find Storm Storm powers, which are basically big buffs that spawn around the mao. There are a variety of them that you can find, and they can help you immensely in battle.

They are also really fun to use!

There is a Corruption Mechanic that you need to be aware of in the game. You can get Corrupted during Storm Delves, which will slowly fill up a meter.

When the Corruption is full, you will die and the only way to avoid Corruption is to escape before the timer runs out.

Be careful when you are fighting bounties. If your bounties are corrupted, you will end up taking all their corruption progression as well.

So, if they are close to death, you will likely end up dying as well. You can look around for Storm Orbs that will lower Corruption Progress and also heal you.

You can also use your Bounty Medallion to find Bounties and kill them. They will be indicated by orange markers.

To find exits, use your Hope Medallion which will basically lead you to the Extraction points. Make sure that you reach these points before time runs out so that you can extract.

Additionally, you will need to ensure that no enemy is killing or hunting you. Otherwise, they will kill you when you are inside a Hope, and you will lose out on the Storm Items you collected.

However, if you do manage to escape then you will be able to keep all the Storm Items you got!

All Storm Items

You can get all sorts of Storm Items from this game mode, and they are incredibly overpowered and useful.

Starting off, we have the Storm Delvers Cloak which is a Godly that provides +30 Spirit at the cost of -10 Vitality.

However, the trade off is more than worth it for Heavy Spirit builds that can afford the lesser health.

After that, we have Storm Goggles that are also a Godly Item. They actually work really with the Storm Delvers Cloak since they are a Face Item.

You can equip them to undo the loss of Vitality you get from the Cloak, while also getting +5 Strength and additional Reiatsu Regen.
