What else is there to look forward to in the next season?

With the new season of Soul Knight Prequel on the horizon, fans are scrambling to get every bit of information about all of the significant changes coming to the game. In this article, we will be taking a quick look at some of the new leaks and confirmed quality of life changes coming to the game.

New Combined Classes Skills & Quality of Life Changes (Season 1)

In previous leaked content reveals, users have found out that there will be four new combined classes, which are supposedly going to have the following names:

  • Beetle Warrior
  • Elf (which turned out to be the Herbalist)
  • Druid
  • Shaman

Although there is no extensive footage of them currently released, some of the skill icons for the Elf, Druid, and Shaman have been leaked. We have no idea what they do yet, though they are looking pretty cool!

Quality of Life Changes

The new season comes with a lot of helpful alterations, and we go into more detail about them in the linked article.

However, let’s quickly summarize some of the notable changes and other additional details revealed in the translated version of the recent announcement by Chilly Room.

Ores & Drop Rates

First of all, Weathered Hephaestite will now be used for rerolling Fatebound effects, while the Volcanic Hephaestite is going to be for changing gear modifiers.

Basically, the uses of these two ores have been flipped, and they made it so that you can very easily get what you need.

Second, the drop rate of both ores and cards will be improved. In addition to that, the max cost (and the rate at which it increases) of rerolling has been reduced to 250,000 coins from the original 500,000 price tag.

Finally, all feathers and ores in your inventory can now be stored instantly by clicking on the newly-added Save All Misc button.

Valkyrie Challenge Updated

The rewards will be adjusted for the Valkyrie challenge, and they will be adding a new way to skip floors with Resurrection Coins.

In addition to that, the developers have also noted that the competition for the Carnelian ranks has been fierce, especially among the more popular classes.

Because of this, end-of-season rewards will now reportedly correspond to the highest rank reached of any of your characters, even if the floor requirements for that rank go up over time and you get left behind.

For Season 1, they have noted that further adjustments will be made to the difficulty curve in order to make it less stressful and/or exhausting for players to participate in this form of endgame content.

As to what these adjustments will be is currently unclear, though we can assume that they will be fairly well-received due to how they are basing this on player feedback.
