Cursed Arena’s roster of characters doesn’t disappoint. There are currently nine (and one on the way) that are playable, and all have their special skills and move sets. The range of abilities in this Roblox game definitely adds an exciting element to the game. Here, I talk about the Special Curse Finger Bearer, present a guide on its moveset and combos, as well as give a showcase of its abilities.
Special Curse Moveset Guide, Combos and Showcase
Special Curse, otherwise known as Finger Bearer, is the 7th playable character and 4th cursed spirit made available in Cursed Arena. You can get this character along with everyone else from the Boss Ticket System.
Moveset
Regular Moves
- BlastOff – The player swings their arm and shoots a yellow beam out of their hand. Once the player uses this skill, they are stuck in that position until the duration of the entire move ends.
- Wind-up: 1s
- Hitbox: 2.8 x 0.5 Tiles
- Range: 2.8 Tiles
- Damage: 20
- Burst – The player releases a small burst of spherical energy around them that damages targets within a certain range. During wind-up, the user is vulnerable to attacks, but upon release, the user is protected from any physical attacks entering the sphere (ex. Forward dash).
- Wind-up: 1.25s
- Blockable: No
- Cancellable: Yes
- Blast – The player launches a missile from their hand that explodes in cursed energy once it reaches maximum energy. This sends debris around as well but these do not do any damage and are purely cosmetic.
- Wind-up: 0.85s
- Hitbox: Projectile
- Damage: 26 Upon direct hit; 26 Explosion
- Blockable: Somewhat. You can aim the missile so it explodes behind the blocking target for explosion damage.
- Cancellable: Yes
- Smash – The player leaps forward and smashes the ground with a small AoE effect.
- Wind-up: from leap to smash 9s
- Hitbox: 2 tiles
- Damage: 17
- Blockable: Somewhat. You can aim to smash behind the blocking target to bypass a block.
- Cancellable: Yes
Ultimate Moves
What’s interesting about Finger Bearer is that pressing the awakening button doesn’t change their entire moveset. Unlike other characters that get entirely new movesets, the only thing that changes for this character is that Burst is replaced by Absolute Destruction.
- Pressing the Awakening Button – The player goes into animation, slamming the ground three times in succession.
- Blockable: No
- Cancellable: No
- Damage: 7 per hit
- Absolute Destruction – The player charges power similar to Burst. This time, the energy is larger and explodes in a wider radius.
- Range: 3 Tiles
Combo & Showcase
It’s notable that the Special Curse moveset is the least used moveset in the game. This is likely due to the set’s long wind-up times, which can be detrimental in fast-paced battle. Additionally, the moveset is generally low output and has low combo potential.
That being said, there are still players that like this moveset and have crafted combos that make it viable in combat.
- 4x M1’s
- Smash (After knocking them back, you will have perfect range on this move)
- 3x M1’s
- Jump
- M1 (Slam)
- Burst
- Blast Off (Aim at the place the guy landed on)
- Blast (If the opponent blocks it, aim behind him.)
There’s a bit of precision required to get this combo down. Special Curse’s knockback makes it difficult to land hits in succession, so this moveset is great for zoning and not much else.
I hope this Special Curse Moveset Guide, Combos and Showcase gives you a good idea of what Special Curse’s moveset is like. It’s definitely not the best one in the game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with it.
