RoBending Online is a Roblox game that is currently on its beta phase, meaning that it is still early in development and the creators are mainly testing things out. It is very clearly inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender, so fans of that series will surely love this experience.
With that said, there is already a bunch of stuff to do in it that beginners may find a bit confusing at first. So, in this guide, we’ll try to help ease you into it so that you can start your adventure without a hitch!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
At the start of the game, each player will get to pick their starting element. You have a few options to choose from, and they are the following:
- Non-Element
- Fire (It’s also known as the best Nation in the game, right now)
- Air
- Earth
- Water
After that, you can start customizing your character’s appearance. In this menu, you can also spin for your sub-element. You get a few free spins at the start, so feel free to use those if you want.

When you are just starting out, you will get a mandatory tutorial teaching you the basics of the game’s controls.
Just follow the instructions given to you by the insanely buff NPC. In this section, you will learn everything you need in order to start fighting with both weapons and elements.
Spawning Into the Main World
Right after spawning, you should immediately see an NPC named Bumi. He will provide you with your very first main quest, which involves dealing with some protesters.
To complete it, simply follow the quest marker on your screen. It will also show you the distance to your next objective, so you can’t possibly get lost while doing it.
Exploring Your Stats and Abilities
The stats that you can increase are: Melee, Health, and Element. You gain stat points by leveling up, and you can use these to boost your character in whichever way you want.
Obviously, if you are going for a more Element-based build, you should level up the appropriate stat for it. Consider dropping a few points into Health in general, too, as this will improve your survivability.
As for your abilities in RoBending Online, you can learn new ones by finding scrolls all throughout the game. These can be learned by going to your master.
If you pay close attention to the compass on the top of your screen, your master should be highlighted there, along with their distance. Simply follow the marker and you will eventually find them.

General Tips
While you’re grinding away for levels and new skills, don’t forget to do your daily quests. These show up all around the map and can be followed via your compass.

Most of them will involve the simple task of beating up mobs, and they will reward you with exp and currency.
Money can be used to purchase items inside the city. There is an item shop where you can buy scrolls and various accessories or weapons. The shop is always highlighted on your screen, so you can find it no matter where you are.

One last thing to keep in mind is that PVP will be active once you reach level 5. So, make sure to get used to the combat by practicing on training dummies or mobs before you reach that level!
