There are a handful of elements to choose from in RoBending Online. Each of these have their own unique abilities that you will have to learn as you level up and progress through the game. Among these is the Ice Spears skill that is exclusive to water players. In this guide, we will teach you how to get the scroll that will allow you to learn this ability from your master!
How to Get Ice Spears Scroll Guide
The first step in acquiring the Ice Spears scroll is to find an NPC named John. You can find him in the first island and is marked in the compass as a one time quest giver.
He is marked on your compass but isn’t named there, so if you need more specific directions, just run northwest from the park that you spawn in. He’ll be standing right beside a large bridge.
First Part
The first objective of John’s quest line will be to defeat 7 pirates at the highlighted spot in your screen. Upon reaching the location marked on your compass to the west, enemies will start spawning.
If you are still at a relatively low level, it is best to keep your distance while fighting them. This is because the pirates will immediately gang up on you once they spawn in.
Once you have defeated at least 7 pirates, a captain will spawn. This is a much tougher opponent, but at least you only have to face a single target this time.
Dodge or block his projectiles and slowly chip away at his health. This boss is fairly chunky and will require a bit of patience to take down without any deaths.
Second Part
The second half of this quest doesn’t really have any fighting involved. Simply pick up the scrolls from the box on the ground where the enemies were spawning from and you will get the next objective.
Next, walk up to the ledge directly northwest of where you’re standing. You will see a pirate ship below you. Start chipping away at its HP until it blows up.
Once that’s done, just return to John and speak with him once more to get your rewards, which will include the Ice Spears scroll.

The Ability Itself
While the quest can be done at around level 20 and above, the Ice Spears ability can only be learned at level 35+. You’ll just have to hold on to the scroll in the meantime until you reach that point.
As the name implies, the ability will allow the user to fire multiple icicles in front of them. This can deal a lot of damage and has a short cooldown, but consistently hitting all projectiles can be tricky.
