Another anime-inspired Roblox game is taking the seas! Try Cursed Sea, a game by Bracting, and try your hand at this parry-based adventure-fighting game that takes place in the seas. This game is heavily inspired by One Piece, so you can expect a lot of looting and PvP elements. This guide will be a complete beginner’s guide to give you a quick rundown of what to expect.
Complete Beginner’s Guide
The word cursed is important to this game. You can collect tons of cursed items, learn different playstyles, and sail the open seas in the Cursed Sea.
I’ll talk about all the gameplay features you need to be familiar with below.
Shop
The main shop will have a bunch of slots and rerolls you can purchase. These slots can increase your inventory capacity as well as add an extra Curse slot. You can also purchase Cash, EXP, Luck, and Dungeon Reward rerolls in the shop for a couple hundred currency.
Other item categories in the shop are Cosmetics, Gems, and Codes.
Trading
In a game where you play as a pirate to collect loot, you can expect some sort of trading system in Cursed Sea. Trade items with friends and other players in the server to get rid of extra items or to get items you have a hard time collecting yourself.
Starting Quest
The first quest will be talking to Luffy, who asks for your help. Once you accept the quest, arrows will appear that will tell you where to go. We can assume for now that most, if not all, the quests will go this way.
Just follow the arrows and follow the tasks to finish the first mission.
Fighting Styles
There are currently 5 fighting styles players can choose from in Cursed Seas. By default, each style has three skills, but you can increase this to 4 skills by purchasing a storage slot from the store.

You can spend diamonds to roll for skills, with the chances following this scheme:
- Mythic: 0.15%
- Legendary: 0.85%
- Epic: 4.35%
- Rare: 7.65%
- Uncommon: 25%
- Common: 62%
Every time you beat an enemy, you gain Exp points for the style you use. This is to build your style mastery. The higher the mastery, the more skill slots you can unlock.
Stat Points
As you progress and gain more exp points, you can earn stat points to increase your player’s attributes. These attributes include:
- Strength – Increases the damage of your fist-based attacks.
- Defense – Increases your max health.
- Stamina – Increases your max stamina.
- Curse – Increases the damage of curse-based attacks.
- Sword – Increases the damage of sword and greatsword-related attacks.
Cursed Chests
Players can earn Cursed Chests by accomplishing quests or purchasing them from the store. These chests can hold valuable items and weapons. Collect as many of these chests as possible for better equipment!
