A brand new Roblox game called Bladers: Rebirth has just been released recently, and it is very clearly inspired by the Beyblade franchise. For all you aspiring bladers out there, we are going to be giving you a few tips on how to get your journey started and reach the current level cap in as little time as possible!
Complete Beginner’s Guide & How to Level Up Fast
Before we begin, it should be noted that the game is currently in beta, which means that a lot of things may change over time as it gets new updates.
Because of that, some of the pointers we provide you might become outdated in the future. With that in mind, let’s get started with the guide!
Getting Started in the Game
When you first start up Bladers: Rebirth, you don’t actually get told anything and are just thrown straight into the meat of the game. Let’s get to the bare basics first before anything else.
First, in order to start training, you have to press the Q button to launch your blade. When this happens, you get put in a separate blade camera as you independently control it.
Basically, at the start, you just level up your blade by repeatedly launching and hitting level 1 rocks. You only have a short time to do this per launch, as your blade will have very low HP.
Also, if you want to speed up the process a bit, keep an eye out for glowing rocks. These provide you with a lot of bonus XP, and they occasionally spawn in the same places as the regular ones.
Moving Up From Beating Rocks
Once you reach around level 10 or so on your very first blade, you can begin farming the level 5 trainer at the other end of the starting area.
But first, make sure to buy some parts on the vending machine beside him that’s labeled “Drako and Zodiact”. Each spin here will cost only $1,750, and these parts will give you a decent boost and some abilities.
To use these parts, just click on the Customize button in your blade menu. This will bring up the part selection screen, where you can mix and match Fragment, Top, Middle, and Bottom components.
Experiment with what you have and figure out what abilities and stats you want to prioritize. You can always switch this up later on, so don’t worry about locking yourself in to the wrong build!
Choosing Your Build
Since you can buy a new blade as long as you have inventory slots for it, you are free to experiment with stat and part combinations as much as you want.
My personal recommendation early on is to focus on attack and stamina purely for mindless grinding of rocks and low level trainers.
This will give you more than enough HP to spin for a prolonged period of time while also easily taking down targets that don’t put up much of a fight.
Dump a few points into defense and you should have a decent beginner blade for grinding. Higher level fights and player battles may require more defense, so just keep experimenting with what you have.
Ideally, try to avoid speed stuff for now. That stat in particular seems to be the least important of the three, while stamina is essential due to how it increases your top’s maximum health.
Grinding Beginner Trainers
Once you have beaten up a few rocks and reached around level 10, you can start farming the level 5 and level 10 trainers scattered all around the starting area.
They are relatively easy to beat, and will give you much more EXP and money, as well as a chance to get some low level parts that can come in handy.
Each trainer has a three minute cooldown after fighting them, so you may have to keep hitting rocks if you find yourself beating them within seconds.
By around level 20+, you can also start fighting the level 20 trainers in the starting park. Once you get to around level 30, you can easily cycle through all of the trainers in this area and rack up some cash and BP.
The general consensus is that you must be a little overleveled when fighting trainers. If you face them with equal levels, you are usually going to be at a disadvantage.
With that said, once you are strong enough to farm them all, the early game grind should be a bit of a breeze. Just keep pumping up your stats based on what build you’re going for.
My personal recommendation is that you should reroll for the Buddha spirit on your starting blade. This will give you passive health regeneration both in battles and in the open world.
In addition to that, the Drako Middle part from the vending machine in the starting area provides you with the Regenerate ability. Paired with Buddha, you will essentially be unkillable against NPC trainers, and maybe even other players on equal levels.
Grinding Later On
As you gain more levels, simply explore the rest of the map and find appropriately leveled NPCs and rocks. Generally, you should just ignore the rocks and cycle through all of the NPCs that you can fight, even lower level ones.
At around level 30, you can start fighting level 25 to 40 trainers at the tower right beside the park. If you run around the entire loop of NPCs here and in the starting area, you should be able to consistently farm them off cooldown.
Keep doing this and you should eventually be able to enter higher level areas and farm the trainers there, as well as the occasional boss NPC. This is basically the entire PVE gameplay loop at the moment.
Upgrading or Getting More Parts
Near the starting area, you can find the store. If you have the money for it, you can go here and spin for some specific parts if you are looking for a certain skill that’s being offered by its limited selection.
More importantly, the part upgrade machine is also here. You can use this to fuse your spare components and turn one of them into a higher tier version of that part.
You don’t have to worry about this too much when you’re just starting out, but it’s always nice to know where it is once you start grinding for these upgrades.
You can also sell unwanted items at the shopkeeper NPC, who is hilariously huge and impossible to miss while you’re inside the store. Seriously, how does he even fit through the door?
There are more vending machines with all sorts of parts that you can find scattered all throughout the map, so just keep on exploring to find all of them!
One of the hidden ones with some decent but expensive parts is behind the waterfall near the starting area. This is just one example that you can find out in the wild.
Getting a Hoverboard
Inside the store mentioned above, you can also find hoverboards that will significantly speed up your travel time across the map. The following are the options you have so far:
- Basic Hoverboard – $2,000
- Black Hoverboard – $20,000
- Jet Board – $250,000
- Sonic Board – $1,000,000
The more expensive the board gets, the more speed it has. With that said, though, you can easily get by with just the Basic or Black Hoverboard, since they are ridiculously cheap and provide a huge boost compared to just walking.
In Conlusion
There honestly really isn’t much to do in the game aside from grinding NPCs and making increasingly more powerful tops as you farm better parts and more money.
There is also the option of competing against other players if you’re into that sort of thing, though you don’t gain or lose BP this way until you reach a certain level in the hundreds.
For now, keep on grinding and experimenting with builds in preparation for later updates. By farming up now, you’ll be ready once new and thrilling content is dropped by the developers in the near future!
And those are all of the tips we have for you when it comes to starting out in Bladers: Rebirth. While you are waiting for new stuff to drop, consider checking out our article on Anime Last Stand’s new update, which is something you can try playing whenever you need a break from the grind!
