Drakania is one of the cool classes in Black Desert Online. Everyone loves the aesthetics of dragons in their fantasy games, and for good reason. Almost every culture in the world had their own versions of dragons in their folklore. From the long dragons of China to the more well-known dragons of Europe. There is just something powerful about these majestic beasts of legends, and in Black Desert Online there’s a character whose whole theme is Draconic! Let’s check out this Drakania Succession Guide.

Mastering a class takes time, although sometimes you don’t want to take time, that’s why you’re here. Here are some tips and tricks on how to be efficient with the Drakania class so that you can save some time in grinding.

Movement

Every class has some movement option, like the side-step that every class has. Then there’s the dash ability which gives you a lot of ground to cover. Lastly is the slide which is pretty self-explanatory. Why am I telling you all of this? It’s because all of this can be chained.

It takes a bit of practice but if you dash, side-step then slide you can cover a lot more ground and at an even faster speed. Once you’ve repeated this and deposited it into muscle memory, you’ll save a lot of time from just running around.

Controls: W + Spacebar(x2) + Shift A or D + RMB + A or D

Now that the basic movement set is there, let’s mix it with some skills. You can actually use your dash ability in the middle of casting Dragon’s Advance and Eviscerate. This combo is good when you’re trying to move around getting as many enemy packs as possible for grinding. It’s also very, very flashy, who doesn’t like that?

Controls: W + F, Space, Shift + F(x2)

Buffs

All classes can use the Q key to do a block or some sort of buff, the Drakania has one as well. When you hold Q for more than a second, you’ll get a 20 second buff to your DP. A good thing to remember when farming.

Prime: Dragon’s Fury is also a good buff to keep up. Along with its usual buffs like a boost on all AP, accuracy and attack speed, it also stockpiles Ions rather quickly. So, after a few swings or running around with this buff on you’ll have your Ions ready.

Abyssal Advance is a great utility skill. It boosts your critical rate and movement speed while also recovering your HP.  Which pairs well with this skill:

A passive that heals you when charging your Ions, so that you can keep that health up while styling on your enemies.

The next buff doesn’t come from a skill but from an item. The Shattered Dragon’s Malice is an item you get when you melt down 15 Dragon Scale Fossils through heating

Skill Add-ons

There are a lot of Skill Add-ons to list and if I do so we’ll be here all week. So for a good all-rounder set of Skill Add-ons, you can refer to the image below. This is a pretty general build that works great for both PVP and PVE, so even newer players who are trying those two out can get follow this.

As for Skill Enhancements a great choice is Markthanan’s Fang. The main use of this is to keep your WP up because this recovers it when used.
