Genshin Impact has a lot of quests, and most of these quests are fast and quick. However, there are other quests that take a chunk of your time if you’re not sure what to do. Blazin Trails is one of those quests, and it is a very long quest to do. But the rewards are great, and it is worth completing in order to get them. With that said, here’s a guide that will help you speed past this quest and towards that reward at the end.
Blazin Trails Guide – Genshin Impact
The first step to the Blazin Trails quest is to teleport to Broken Isle after talking to Xinyan and the others. Once you appear on the island, you will then trigger a cutscene that will take you to another domain.
In this domain, you need to find a brightly lit place, as it says in your objectives. Hit the drum to get the platforms to come to you. They will take you to a different platform that will contain puzzles.
Here, you will get to see the Melodic Harp and Melodic Blooms. You need to make sure that each bloom is aiming at another bloom to activate the Wind Bloom that will take you to the next platform.
After finishing the cutscene, you will then have to find a key. Go to the next platform that has a harp and more blooms, as well as the Melodic Panels. Complete the panels by stepping on all of them before stepping on the final glowing panel. Keep going until you can use the harp. Adjust all the blooms until you can open the chest where the key is.
Once you get the key and open the door, follow the path until you reach a cutscene that will eventually transport you back to the islands.
Your next objective is to clear the water veins that flow through the mountain. You can easily find these rocks that are blocking the veins by following these rocks and destroying them. You will reach a blocked path. Only the harp and blooms can open it. Just align the blooms and shoot the note with the harp.
Once you finally destroy all the rocks, the water will flow into this pool at the top of the mountain, where the last rock you destroyed is located next to. Obtain the Glacial Spring Water to complete part 1 of the quest.
Head back to the domain and enter the hall of music. Eventually, you’ll have to use the wooden bridge while listening to Xinyan’s lore to further proceed. These take the form of doors with voices coming out of them.
After listening to the voices from the door, you will need to open the blocked pathway with a note from the harp. No need to adjust the blooms, just have the harp do its thing and the blocked path will be open.
Following the path, you will come across Little Fei, who asks you to find her friends: Little Meng and Little Lulu. They’re not hard to find, they’re both just standing at the edge of the docks on both sides. You can see them just standing, so it’s not that hard to stop them.
Once you’re done helping Little Fei, use the harp to open the path again. No need to adjust any of the blooms. Once the path is open, you will then enter Xinyan’s house and a cutscene will trigger. You will then be transported back to the islands.
Same thing as the last time with the water currents, find the rocks and destroy them. You will find them being protected by the same notes, so use the harp and blooms to destroy them and then destroy the rocks yourselves.
You will then have to go back to the domain to look for the Frozen Soul. Hit the drum and Wind Blooms will spawn to take you to the next drum that will summon a staircase to the Frozen Soul. After the cutscene, you will then return to the islands once more.
Once you’re back on the island, you have to plant the Frozen Soul’s petal, which will grow a beautiful flower.
Once again, you have to follow the stream in order to find the rocks that are blocking the water. You will have to solve the different puzzles to get the rocks to be unprotected, but they are very easy compared to the others.
Once you’re done, head back to the domain and inform Frozen Soul of what happened, which will be the last time you will enter the domain. Returning to the island, head to the waypoint to witness the final cutscene of Xinyan.
After the cutscene, you will have to check on the Fatui Machine. This will then lead to an island mentioned by Mona. Head to the said island and not only will you complete the Blazin Trails quest, but you will also unlock the ability to return to the domains.
