Best Titan Slaying Guide (Crawling & Tips)
Titans are essentially giant man-eating humanoids who resign outside the walls in the Anime and Manga. Roblox remade its own version of these titans that you can defeat in combat. This guide will show you different methods to kill Titans. The guide will range from easy methods to more challenging ones so you can make your fight more exciting. We’ll also cover tips for killing crawlings. So, if you’re an absolute beginner and if you want the ropes around how combat works and some effective strategies, stick around till the end!
Defeating a titan
There are various ways you can defeat a titan depending on the situation and the titan’s stance. Let’s look at those ways.
- Method 1:
If you want to fight a titan from the back, go behind it and go in the air, aim your grapple toward its nape and swing to that area, until you slice the titan’s neck. This move is also an iconic move featured in the anime/manga itself. You’ll see that it was executed by Levi Ackerman.
- Method 2:
Another method is you can slice through its leg to disable the titan. The titan will fall on its knees. That’s when you target by dashing toward them from the back, targeting the nap and slay it. This is best when you have many titans to fight at once or are surrounded and you don’t have time. So, you can disable them through the leg and then kill.
In this method, you also are not required to be in the air to use the ODM to kill them like we did in the first method. This method will also prevent you from risking getting damaged.
- Method 3:
The next method is to grab the titan by the neck and use either D or A to shift around the titan. The effectiveness of this strategy depends on how fast you are.
Crawler
The best way to defeat a crawler if it’s in front of you is to go over it, dash and M1 the crawler. You’ll also notice that dashing may be energy consuming and that it might take 2-3% of your gas supply but it’s worth it.
Dashing and killing defeats crawlers very fast and is the most effective way. This essentially lets you get some quick titan kills. The second method for defeating a crawler is: Let’s say the crawler is right in front of you. Try angling your pointer a little above their head and then dash and slice!
Tips
- Avoid going from the arms and instead either go for legs or eyes. The arms will not disable your titan as effectively as hurting their legs (to stop them from moving) and hurting their eyes (to stop them from knowing where you are so they can’t attack you and you can easily defeat them). The legs, however, are much easier to target so that’s what you need to go for.
- The best time to start searching for more gas is when you reach the 10% mark. So, by that time, you should go ahead and search for some gas to refill your ODM.
- If you’re not yet in the level to one-shot titans, you should train with lower level enemies until you can one-shot the titans in combat. Increase your inflicted damage.
- One of the most useful skills is the Shifter Regen that rapidly regenerates your health so don’t forget to learn it to complete objectives faster!
