A Friend in Need Trophy Achievement Guide – Ending Extinction is Forever

First of all, this is just a piece of safety advice but it isn’t necessary for the achievement, find the badger! If he finds you first you’ll be in a world of trouble so make sure to have a good knowledge of your surroundings and know if the badger might be coming. You can do this by going next to him and defeating his food.

At Night 8 he will be trapped. You will need to find him and release him. You will have exactly 2 nights to find him so you better be fast. He will be located different every time so you’ll have to actually go out and check everything.

If you do not find and release him in these 2 days, he will disappear and you’re never to find him again. It is extremely hard to miss him because he will be blocking the way to the Cub Trace. So you are more than likely to see him.

Once you find him you’ll see that he is trapped inside a cage. Walk up to the cage and just use the interaction button a couple of times. Once you get him free you’ll get the achievement. Congratulations! He will go running away on the right into the distance.
