Type Soul is a Roblox game completely inspired by the popular anime and manga, Bleach. The game allows you to become different types of species and races from the franchise. The most popular being the Soul Reaper, which is what the main protagonist, Ichigo Kurosaki is. If you become a Soul Reaper, you will unlock the Shikai and Bankai forms that are exclusive to Soul Reapers (or those who were once Soul Reapers). In this tier list, I will show you the best and worst Shikai and Bankai’s you can use in Type Soul.

Best Shikai & Bankai Tier List (Updated)

A tier list for the different Shikai's and Bankai's in Type Soul.

Before we start, please bear in mind that this tier list is not 100% factual. This is not to be taken as the be all end all of Shikai and Bankai tier lists. This was created using the opinions most players share about the different Shikai and Bankais in the game from the community. If you believe that some of these are in the wrong tier, feel free to let us know why.

With that said, here is the tier list for all the Shikai’s and Bankai’s.

S Tier

  • Ink – Some might say this is a broken Shikai and Bankai, and they’re right. Ink is a menace of a Shikkai and Bankai and you can find many players use it for different game modes. Its destructive power allows it to eliminate enemies without getting too close.
  • Ice – Another busted Shikai and Bankai that can easily decimate foes on the battlefield. Ice is something that a lot of players use to climb the ranks of the leaderboard with it, so it speaks to its usefulness and strength at how good it is.
  • Blood – A deadly Shikai and Bankai that disappeared off the map after some reworks happened. But once players discovered that Blood is a force to be reckoned with, the Shikai and Bankai reemerged to become one of the most used Shikai and Bankai’s in the game.
  • Kyoka – If you need something to shatter your opponents defense, Kyoka’s Shikai and Bankai will remove any kind of defense the enemy has and allow you to attack back. It’s a great Shikai and Bankai.
  • Berserk – Anyone who plays ranked will let you know that Berserk players are crazy. They do not care about what happens to them because they know that they have the damage to take out anyone in a flash. Berserk is one of the most used Shikai and Bankai’s right now.

A Tier

  • Duality – An incredibly powerful Shikai and Bankai that you can find most players using in the game. It’s so powerful, it’s almost tempting to put it on S tier. However, it’s easy to learn how to counter this Shikai and Bankai in the game. That’s why it’s at the top of A tier.
  • Lightning – A fantastically fast Shikai and Bankai that can also do some serious damage. It’s perfect for those that want to hit hard and fast while still being able to move around fast enough to avoid enemy attacks.
  • Soifon – Just like in the anime and manga, Soifon’s Shikai and Bankai are criminally underrated and are amazing to use. Type Soul makes Soifon gameplay look amazing and easy to use as well.
  • Flower – A powerful and speedy Shikai and Bankai, Flower allows you to trap players where they are and decimate them with speed that matches that of lightning. A great Shikai and Bankai if you want something fast but can’t get Lightning.

B

  • Wind – A Shikai and Bankai that recently received a buff. This was once a more usable Shikai and Bankai, not one that’s normally used in raids or ranked matches. But thanks to the new update and the buff, Wind is now a great Shikai and Bankai. If it’s any better, it might even make it to A tier.
  • Confusion – What was once a F tier Shikai and Bankai, Confusion goes up a couple of tiers due to how the Shikai and Bankai are now borderline broken. Bear in mind that it’s not going to give you an instant win, but it’s broken enough that if you are able to confuse your opponents just once, you can absolutely take them down if you’re fast enough.
  • Shadow – Shadow was once a meta Shikai and Bankai for a while now. But thanks to the players in the community getting smarter and knowing how to counter Shadow, it’s lost its meta status. It’s still a good overall Shikai and Bankai that can do decent damage. Just try to be more unpredictable when facing players who know how to counter Shadow.
  • Water – Water is a Shikai and Bankai that’s a bit predictable when it comes to its usage. Anyone who knows how to play Water will tell you that there is a certain combo that is a guaranteed victory. The problem there is that once you know how to counter it, Water isn’t all that strong. It is, however, a great Shikai and Bankai regardless.
  • Benehime – A lot of players actually believe Benehime is good, which it is. It’s just not that amazing compared to other Mythical Shikai’s and Bankai’s in the game.
  • Zangetsu – A strong and powerful Shikai and Bankai that can decimate its foes. It does suffer from being too predictable, as many players have reported that when a Zangetsu user uses Getsuga Tenshou, a loud sound cue plays out, allowing them to dodge in time. Otherwise, it would be pretty good if it got a slight rework.

C Tier

  • Fire – A victim of the rework, Fire was actually a meta Shikai and Bankai for a couple of weeks. But its lost its meta status thanks to the reword and now its not that good. It’s still fairly usable,, just not good enough to use in raids or ranked.
  • Creation – Creation suffers the same fate as Shadow. A powerful meta Shikai and Bankai that was able to dominate players for a little while turned to a Shikai and Bankai that is easy to learn and counter. However, Creation is lower on the tier list because the players learning how to counter Creation have pretty much made this Shikai and Bankai not as good as it once was.

D Tier

  • Theater – The Shikai and Bankai that most players tend to avoid, and it was recently just added into the game. Theater isn’t bad, per se. But if you are a high level player with more hours on the game than anything else, you might not use theater since it’s not all that good compared to other Shikai’s and Bankai’s.
  • Poison – This one is quite divisive, as most players don’t actually think Poison is good. But there are others that think the Poison needs a buff in order to be anywhere good. Right now it’s currently usable, but a buff may change its status from being an F tier Shikai and Bankai to somewhere more.
  • Judgement – Considered the absolute worst Shikai and Bankai in the game. Seeing a Judgement player is like spotting Bifoot in the wild. It’s very rare because Judgement isn’t all that good of a Shikai and Bankai.
