Complete Update 1 Guide
Hunter Era Update 1 comprises a bunch of new updates, additions, bug fixes and much more. But the most exciting and anticipated part of this update are the following:
- New Island
- Hunter Exam
This complete guide will tell you about everything the new island has to offer and how players complete the brand-new Hunter Exam, so keep reading till the end!
Exploring The New Island
For update 1, the game dropped a new island with many new NPCs, stores, more adventure and more missions of course.
To get to this Island, you go to the Second Island where the boats are and buy a pass for this island. We’ll show you all the cool new things you can do on this island. But first, let’s talk about the NPCs on the new island.
NPCs
Some of the NPCs on this island include:
- The Seller
As you would expect, he sells items like various Potions that could come in handy like Health and Stamina potion.
- Quest Giver: Next, is the Quest Giver who assigns you quests.
- Bosses: The island has many options for bosses like the iconic Marayam from the Hunter x Hunter franchise. Aside from Marayam, there are other NPC bosses as well.
Obtaining Nen or Hatsu from Nen Master
Nen is your primary ability that showcases your power and Hatsu helps boost damage. You can increase your Hatsu progress bar by pressing the “G” on your keyboard.
To obtain Nen or Hatsu abilities, you need to visit the Nen Master on the island.
When you meet him, press the “E” button. You’ll have to use Spin Reroll to choose and then reroll Nen or Hatsu. There’s a 1% chance to obtain Legendary Nens during this process.
Chest and new Boss Drop
- You can explore the island to discover that there are many hidden chests. Finding and opening these chests will earn you some free Yen Cash.
Scavenging for chests throughout the island, however, may be time-consuming. It’s better to just focus on completing quests and instead wait till you come across these chests along the way.
- The game also released a new Epic boss drop which is the Scarf. The Epic scarf provides the user with 1000+ additional health.
The Island is also equipped with many other fun things like bandits, a wide area to explore with a forest, other players and everything you would find in other Islands, too.
Hunter Exams
The Hunter Exams start in a waiting room where you get a little time to practice and prepare.
- The first part of the exams include racing out of the tunnel.
- The second part includes some parkour occurring outside on some platforms.
The same area is also like a maze where you have to escape it and find your way out.
NOTE: You need to do all of this fast and under the time given at the bottom of the screen.
- After you complete this and find your way out, you’ll be transported to another location where you’ll have to maneuver through some traps.
Once you get to the end, the survivors have a PvP battle and the last man standing wins! When you win, you get rewards like:
- The Scythe which is an exclusive items.
- You also get some spins.
- You get some Yin.
- And you also get some XP.
But it’s okay if you didn’t win because you can retake the Hunter Exam every hour and keep trying until you acquire those rewards!
That is all for the complete guide. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated when more news and updates come up for Hunter Era. In the meantime, you can learn more about the game as a beginner with this Complete Beginner’s Guide on (Levelling, Clan, Nen, Hatsu, & More)!
