When it comes to new updates, sometimes, the developers of a game add new characters for players to experience. Not all players have the resources or time to test them all out though, so it’s good to know what the best ones are first!

In Anime Impact, the new Update 1 came in and with it were a bunch of new characters introduced into the game. If you got some of these new characters or are planning on getting them, you should know how good each one of them is!

In this guide, we’ll show you where these new characters stand in the meta of the game through a Tier List! We’ll go through their strengths and whether you should try and get them or not. Now, let’s see where these new units are placed in each tier.

Best Unit Tier List (Update 1)

The new Update 1 for Anime Impact introduces a lot of new units in the game. Most of them are extremely powerful, so you’ll want to know which ones are the best, so you can try and get them. Not only that, but there are also a couple of new secret units with this update!

Below are all of the best units in a game in a tier list along with the new ones. Now, let’s see where they rank in the list!

Anime Impact New Tier List

S – Tier

  • Toju (Revived) – The base unit is already S-rank so evolving him just makes him the top. His basic attacks are AOE along with stronger versions of his base attacks.
  • Hokuri (Lucky) – Whenever this unit misses he gets stronger as well as stronger versions of the base attacks making this a meta unit.
  • Goju (Showdown) – A straight upgrade to everything for an already amazing base unit. This unit is an absolute menace in PVP with high evasion buffs.
  • Gilga (King) – One of the best units you can get in the game. This unit can stun, disarm, and weaken enemies. Even with the recent nerfs it’s still a great unit overall.
  • Mahoti (Distorted Killing) – The base unit is already good but with the evolution, it’s a must-have character. The decay debuff he gives makes raids easier and it’s also AOE.
  • Toju – One of the new secret units in the game. It’s hard to get this character but his amazing single-target damage as well as the ability to break field effects is powerful!
  • Hokuri – Another new secret unit in the game, and despite only being a single target he can stun enemies. Not only that but the damage can be even higher with critical hits.
  • Sakuna (Itadoki) – With the domain move of this unit it hits every unit out there making this an amazing AOE unit.

A – Tier

  • Goju (Six Eyes) – Evolving the already amazing Goju unit makes the AOEs better and now he gets Domain Expansion.
  • Nanami (Overtime) – The base unit might not be great but when he’s evolved this unit is amazing. Despite having mostly single target attacks the damage makes up for it!
  • Aoi Todu – One of his moves is great for support since it blocks any attacks for your team. It’s a free block for your other units making this one of the best new units.
  • Itadoki – Unlike Nanami, even without evolving this unit the damage is great and it only gets better when it evolves.
  • Mahoti – Like Itadoki, it’s one of the new units that is already great without evolving them. Every time this unit deals damage it applies decay on enemies making them weaker.
  • Goju – Another amazing unit without evolving them because he has two AOE moves. The only downside is that evolving this unit is expensive.

B – Tier

  • Nanami – As a base character the damage on this one is subpar but when you evolve them it increases drastically.
  • Shiesty Sorceror – This unit has a lot of HP and Defense making him a great defensive character. It’s a great character to have but not something you should get excited over.

Those are all of the best units for Update 1 in Anime Impact. Now, go out there and try to get the best ones! Do you want to know what’s the fastest way to Grind Hakari in the game? Check out our Fastest Way To Grind Hakari Guide for more details!
