With the recent release of the new Roblox event called The Games, a bunch of games throughout the platform have added a bunch of hidden “Shines” and earnable silver that will let you unlock various prizes for your account. Watermelon Go is one of the participating games in this event, and it is basically a Roblox version of the popular Suika Game from 2023. Here is how to find all the shines and silvers!
How to Get All 5 Shines & 3 Silvers (The Games Roblox Event)
First of all, if you are only here for the event and are unfamiliar with the game, the premise is simple. You just have to drop fruits onto the board, with those of the same kind combining into a bigger one and giving you points. You just keep doing this until you overflow.
Before we get to the Shines, let’s go through the steps you need to take in order to get all 3 silver pieces. Basically, you just need to complete a bunch of quests in order, but you can only do each task one game at a time.
This means that after you finish a quest, you will have to start a new match to gain progress for the next one. If you are good at the Suika Game, this shouldn’t take you too long. Here are the tasks you need to complete:
- Quest #1 (1 silver) – Merge 25 fruits and create a cantaloupe, which is the 7th fruit you can get.
- Quest #2 (1 silver) – Get a high score of 1500+ and also Merge 25 fruits in the first minute of a match.
- Quest #3 (1 silver) – Win 1 Public Match Duel, with surrenders not counting towards progress.
As of writing this, they have already removed the other task in Quest 3, which was to win a public match duel with a watermelon. I’m guessing this is because people found it really hard to get a watermelon, especially in a PVP match with pressure to win.
I would love to give you advice, but I’ve never been good at this even in the original Switch version of the game. If you are struggling at PVP, just keep at it and you will eventually match with somebody who will fill up fast.
Where to Find the Shines
There are a total of five Shines hidden all throughout the menus, and you don’t need to do anything special to get them. Simply click on the Shine and you will receive it.
Below is a list of all the Shine locations in the game, with an image for reference under it (minus one, since I accidentally clicked on it before taking a picture):
- Shine #1 – Click on the Roblox – The Games icon with the “Click Me!” prompt pointing towards it. Scroll to the bottom and the first Shine is right there.
- Shine #2 – In the Watermelon Go logo on the upper left corner of the main menu
- Shine #3 – Open the Tutorial tab and you will find it hiding behind the first box in the menu.
- Shine #4 – Open the Shop tab and you will see the next one hiding in the shopping cart icon on the upper left corner of the screen.
- Shine #5 – Start a Classic game and you will find the final Shine hiding behind the Friend Leaderboards box.
And that is pretty much it for this game, you can now move on to another one if you are trying to speed through the event. Check out our guide on how to get all the shines and silvers in Epic Minigames so you can rack up more points!
