Chunin Exams Guide (Bosses, Locations, Requirements & More)
There are three parts to the Chunin Exam in The Time of Ninja. In this guide, we’ll cover all three parts in detail to help guide you on how to successfully pass the Chunin exams and officially become a Chunin yourself. The three parts of the Chunin exam are:
- Written Exam
- Defeating ‘Leaf, Icy, and Stone’ enemies.
- Defeating White Eyes (Neji)
Keep reading and we’ll explain each step in detail.
Written Exam
Here’s how to start the Chunin Exams. First, you’ll need to reach level 18. Once you reach the required level, talk to Ishikage.
The first part of the exam is a written exam which is similar to a pop quiz or MCQ-based exam where you answer questions related to the series.
Here are the answers to each question in the exam:
- Answer 1: Option 1 (Gennin, Chunin, Jonin, Kage)
- Answer 2: Option 2 (Black Flames)
- Answer 3: Option 1 (Luxinn)
- Answer 4: Option 2 (Infinite Nightmare Kingdom)
- Answer 5: Option 1 (Yellow thunder)
- Answer 6: Option 2 (Nine Tails)
- Answer 7: Option 1 (Anbu)
- Answer 8: Option 2 (To avenge his clan)
- Answer 9: Option 2 (Icy)
- Answer 10: Option 1 (Hidden Leaf Village)
At the end of the exam, you should receive a stamp of approval showing you’ve successfully completed the written exam.
Now it’s time to talk to the Sensei named Niko standing in front of the blackboard, and exit the classroom.
Defeating ‘Leaf, Icy, and Stone’ enemies.
For the next part of the exam, you need to head all the way deep into the forest of the city. Use the mission’s pointer to help guide you to this part of the Forest. When you finally reach the location, you’ll also find Yomichi.
You are tasked with defeating:
- 20 Leaf Renegate
- 1 icy enemy
- 1 Stone Leo enemy
Aside from these, you’ll also need to visit 44 Tower and talk to the instructor. The 44 Tower is the large red building where floors look like they are stacked on top of each other. The 44 tower is close to where you find Yomichi and is located in the Forest of Death.
Next, you’ll need to speak to Ana at the entrance to enter the location. When you’re finally inside the building, speak to the instructor.
Doing this will complete and tick off two parts of this quest. The next part is to defeat 20 Leaf Renegades. The trick to defeating the NPCs is to stand at a distance and spam first skill. Use the same method to defeat 1 icy enemy.
After that, it’s time to find Stone Leo to complete the last part of the quest. To defeat Stone Leo (Rock Lee), you’ll have to go back to 44 Tower which is in the Forest of Death, and talk to the Instructor so he can summon Stone Leo for you to fight.
You can even use the same trick on Stone Leo where you stand at a distance and spam first skill.
Defeating White Eyes (Neji)
For the final part of the exam, you’ll need to be at Level 20. Once you reach the required level, go over and talk to Kogei. He’s at the same location where you had your exams.
He’ll congratulate you for passing your written exam and let you know about the final part of the Chunin Exam which is battling an opponent named White Eyes.
If you’re ready to take the opponent on in combat, then you can click “yes” or you can gear up
First, ensure you’re well-prepared before starting this last part of the exam. Once you’re ready, you can enter the Arena and battle Neji in a duel.
Again, you can cheese this boss by standing at a distance and spamming first skill.
Defeating Neji means finally passing your chunin exams and officially becoming a chunin! At this point, you can celebrate the victory of being promoted.
