Not to worry, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll show you multiple methods and locations where you can get silk. This will allow you to craft all the armors you need in no time. With that said, let’s dive in!
How to Get Silk
There are multiple methods and locations where you can get silk in Black Myth Wukong. It will also depend on whether you want to get them in the first or second chapter. So, we’ll look at both of the chapters.
So, in total, there are 3 locations or methods you can use to obtain silk.
Feel free to use the Table of Contents if you’re only interested in a specific one.
Silk Location #1 – Chapter 1
There is a way to get Silk in Chapter 1 if the need arises. To get it, however, you’ll need to unlock a hidden area. This is the Ancient Guanyin Temple secret area.
To unlock it, you’ll need to ring three bells. Our three bells location guide can help you out. It’ll show you the exact location for each of them.
After you’ve unlocked the area, go to the Keeper Shrine here. Over here, select the Store option and Buy.
In the Buy menu, you should be able to see some Silk on sale. It does cost 600 Will each so make sure you have enough money for the purchase!
Silk Location #2 – Chapter 2
You can also purchase silk in Black Myth Wukong in Chapter 2. It will be right at the start of Chapter 2. Head to the Village Entrance shrine located in Sandstone Village.
Over here, select the Store option. In the menu, you should also be able to purchase Silk for 600 Will each.
Silk Location #3 – Chapter 2
Unfortunately, the store will only sell x2 silk at a time. You’ll need a lot more silk to craft armor and be able to farm it reliably.
This is where we recommend that you simply kill the normal enemies in Chapter 2. Most of them will drop some Silk from time to time. So all you need to do is keep farming the enemies until you have enough silk.
You can also try to break any pots that you see in this chapter. They can also drop some silk from time to time.
That’s everything you need to know about getting silk in Black Myth Wukong. If you want to get silk early, you should definitely get the secret area. However, if you’ve progressed ahead, then farming it from enemies is definitely easier and much cheaper!
