A Dusty Trip just added a new quest in its latest update, and the reward for completing it is a completely new and free vehicle. In this guide, we will be showing you how to store data tablets that you need to find in the world so that you can bring them along with you and complete the quest!

How to Store Data Tablet (Free Car Quest)

So, you managed to find one of the data tablets about the new enemy types in the game. Now, you may be wondering how you are supposed to bring it along with you to the data upload center.

The answer is hilariously simple, and it is to just grab the tablet and walk up to whichever car you are using. Then, just weld it to the car by pressing “Z” when the “attach part” prompt is shown. For mobile players, just tap the “weld” button.

This will, as you would expect, attach the tablet to the car and can be taken again whenever you need to detach it. Ideally, you want to put it on the roof or on the trunk, as I’ve found that it usually bugs out and prevents your car from moving if stuck to the side.

Alternatively, you can simply put it inside the car. It won’t really move around, and unless a weird glitch occurs, you should be completely fine. Just hold it over one of your seats and drop it.

It might phase through the car seats, but trust me, it’ll stay in the car even if you bump into random stuff along the way. Tested it myself, though your mileage may vary.

If you want to feel a little more secure with this method, you can combine both of what I’ve shared with you and just weld it inside the car. This avoids any weird bugs, and you can keep an eye on it at all times while you drive! Just look at the example below:

That’s pretty much all you need to know in order to store these things while you make your way to the end goal. You could also just drop it on the car’s roof and drive around like that if you like to live dangerously. It usually won’t slip off that way, but no guarantees!
