In Deadlock, you get access to a variety of different characters that have their own pros and cons. As a result, you’ll want to use a build that suits their style of play. But how exactly can you make more builds and access them besides the default one.
Not to worry, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll be showing you exactly how you can make and even edit builds. With that said, let’s dive in!
How To Make & Edit Builds Guide
Starting off, the first thing you’ll need to do in Deadlock is to access the Builds menu. To do this, you’ll need to open the shop menu when you’re in game.
When you do so, you’ll be able to see the Builds tab at the top. Click on it and you’ll be able to see the build that you currently have equipped.
If you haven’t messed with this before, you’ll have the default build for your character. But to change and make your own build, click on the Browse Builds option in this menu.
Doing so will open a menu on the left where you can see all your builds. Over here, you can select the Create A New Build option and be able to create your own build.
Furthermore, you can click on the Public tab in the list to be able to see builds that other people have built for the character. You can then save them and actually be able to use them in game.
Additionally, you can also edit these builds or your own with the Copy and Edit option at the bottom of the menu.
In general, there are a whole assortment of things that you can modify in your build. You can select items for different phases so that you have a build that gets better over time.
If you scroll down, you can even see a game plan showcasing all the features of your build in Deadlock. This includes your strengths, weaknesses and how you should process in the game. In this way, you’ll be able to make a build that suits your play style!
That’s everything you need to know about making and editing builds in Deadlock. This is a very useful feature that we encourage you to experiment with. As the game is still in the early stage, the meta has not been established yet and you can see public builds to get an idea of what works best.
