Devas of Creation has a ridiculous amount of grinding that it expects players to go through, and those who have reached the higher levels are starting to feel the burnout as new gear starts costing so many rare materials. In this guide, we will try to give you a slight edge by showing you some of the best spots to find the more valuable resources.
Best Material Farming Spots & Locations
Before we begin, it should be emphasized once more that this is for valuable resources (epic rarity and above). If you are out here looking for moon stones or thread, you don’t really need outside help for that. Those are practically everywhere.
For this guide, I am going to assume that you are fine with server hopping. Since not everybody will have a flying mount, I will try to keep you locked into a smaller, more concentrated zone for each resource.
Celestial Essence (Epic Rarity – Lumbering Skill)
First up, we have Celestial Essence, which are logs from a specific type of tree (Celestial Yggdrasil). I am unfortunately very familiar with these as there are a lot of them in the general are where you go for the flying mount quest.
Close to the Lakeforest Catacombs Entry waypoint, at the highlighted part of the map below, you will find two Celestial Yggdrasil trees not too far from each other. In the middle of these is a Phoenixheart Redwood tree, but there is a better spot for it later.
The second Celestial Yggdrasil can be found just down the hill to the north. They don’t take too long to respawn, but you can server hop to get fresh nodes immediately. Take note, there will be one or two trolls that you have to fight before you can gather these.
Phoenixheart Timber (Legendary Rarity – Lumbering Skill)
For Phoenixheart Timber, there are two nodes close to each other just down at the Antbound Wilds. This is directly south from the spot for Celestial Yggdrasils. Check the map image below for their exact spots.
Basically, one Phoenixheart Redwood can be found right in the middle of the sandy area with humanoid ant-like enemies. The other one is down to the south, guarded by an alpha boar. You can easily see both of them due to their tall stature.
You will need to kill enemies as they spawn beside the trees. If you are going to server hop (which is the idea here), you may want to log out a few steps away just so you don’t get mobbed the second you come back in.
Palm Wood (Rare Rarity – Lumbering Skill)
One thing you might not be aware of is the fact that palm trees can be found in very specific locations of the map. My preferred spot for this is the small body of water just to the west of Zorin’s home.
In case you have forgotten or haven’t been there yet for some reason, Zorin is the NPC who gives you the easiest repeatable mount quest, which is how I got my trust steed… the pig. The sandy area down there is home to three palm tree nodes.
They respawn relatively fast, but probably not fast enough to be a very active farm if you decide not to server hop. An alternative will be the Sandstone Isle to the far west of the whole map. There are a lot of palm trees there, but they have high level enemies patrolling beside them.
Gemstones, Amberite, and Amethystium (Mining Skill + Looting)
For gemstones, amberite, and amethystium, my personal recommendation is to just loop around the Catacombs. We have a complete guide to the Catacombs that will come in handy for this one.
Basically, you just want to clear every single room you run into, including the spiders that will descend from the ceiling in certain hallways. Along the way, you will run into a bunch of amethystium and amberite nodes, as well as a few emeraldite ones too.
Once you reach around level 50 or so, you can do the exact same thing at the Ancient Pyramid off to the far west across the sea. Nodes for all of these materials can be found all around the place, and all the enemies have a chance to drop gemstones too.
Just watch out for hostile players whenever you delve into either of these two locations. People will mostly be minding their own business in these areas despite being forced PVP zones, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any PKers around.
If you see a red name while going for resource nodes or pulling mobs for gemstones, divert your attention immediately because that is a potential threat or distraction right there. Case in point:
And that is everything you need to know in order to get these valuable resources. Gathering a large amount of resources for high level gear is a slow and daunting process, so hopefully this helps you find what you need.
