Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has its fair share of interesting puzzles just like in the movies. One such puzzle is the Sacred Wounds Puzzle. You’ll come across this puzzle when solving the Stolen Cat Mummy puzzle in the Vatican.
This puzzle can be a bit challenging because there are so many numbers to keep track of. So, in this guide, we’ll be showing you exactly how you can solve the puzzle and what the solution is. Let’s get into it!
The Sacred Wounds Puzzle Solution
When you arrive in the puzzle room, you’ll see a depiction of Jesus on the wall with various numbers depicting the different wounds he received on various body parts. You’ll need to match them with the correct number.
Inside various sections of the puzzle room, you’ll find other paintings with golden basins. So, the first thing you need to do is pour wine into the basins. Doing so will reveal a number.
After you get the number, look at the paintings. Each of the paintings will have a symbol marking a specific body part or wound on Jesus. So, you’ll need to keep track of each number with the body part.
One of these paintings will be behind a locked door. To get past this door, you can enter inside via a crack in the wall. On the other side, you can use a mechanism to open the door.
Once you have all the numbers, return to the picture of Jesus. You can then slide the mechanisms for the numbers and match the numbers with the wounds.
The exact numbers for each of the body parts is shown below. Doing so will complete the puzzle, allowing you to get past the wall and proceed with the story.
That’s everything you need to know to solve the Sacred Wounds puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It can be a bit annoying to keep track of the numbers. In that case, you can just use the image of the solution we provided.
